Chicago Midway Charming Retreat

This gorgeous newly remodeled apartment has been designed and furnished with you, the traveler, in mind! Luxurious bedding and towels will assure a good night sleep and the fully equipped kitchen will keep you satiated. We are striving to provide you with everything you need for a fantastic experience while visiting Chicago! We live on the top floor so if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. Although we are a phone call away, we will always respect your privacy during your stay! We are striving to offer you a 5 star experience. If there is anything we could assist you with, just ask. We will do our best to make it happen. You will have the entire place for yourself! Two bedrooms with one queen bed in each room, one bathroom, kitchen /dinning/living room. You will also have access to our patio and laundry room. As mentioned above, we live on the top floor but we live a pretty hectic live style. We will be available in person through out the day / night, but the proffered method of communication is thru the app or text messages. Our neighborhood is called Garfield Ridge. It is home to many family and independently owned businesses, including restaurants, bars, salons, and medical and dental offices. The area is predominantly inhabited by firemen and policemen. We are in close proximity to public transit and the highway (I-55, or the Stevenson), making it very easy to navigate to different places. At Midway Airport, you will find transportation via buses and the train, known as the Orange Line (locals call it the "L"). This line will bring you downtown and connect you to the other lines that will take you very far north and south as well. There is also a bus stop right on the corner of Archer and Lockwood (the stoplight to the left that is visible from the front window). Close to public transportation, easy access to Midway airport (1 mile) and highway I-55 will make your commuting a breeze. In no traffic, we are 20 minutes from downtown Chicago ( 11 miles) via Uber or about 50 minutes via public transportation. Ohare airport is 28 miles away, 35 minutes in no traffic. Public transportation, although very affordable and easily accessible will take about 1 h and 45 minutes. McCormick Place Convention Center is only 9 miles away, a 15 minute Uber ride in no traffic.
