Close to Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Acadia NP. with 5G Wifi. Your guest house is private and for your use with a private entrance. Our home is on the same property. . Upstairs has a Cathedral ceiling with an open concept living area. The open area has a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area, with a full bathroom. The sofa pulls out to a queen bed. The upper level has a deck to sit out on to view the morning harbor or setting sun. The ground floor has the main bedroom with a queen size bed and another full bathroom. There is a den with a twin trundle day bed. The ground floor also has a deck affording views of Bass Harbor and the surrounding islands. Take advantage of the dog run for your fur baby. Guests have access to the entire private guest house, yard, dog run, and parking. My wife and l come and go, going about our lives in the paradise known as Mt. Desert Island. We are only a text away Bass Harbor is the quintessential Maine fishing village and the only true one on Mt. Desert Island. The lobster scenes of the movie, "Cider House Rules", were filmed in the harbor. The area is known as, "the quiet side", of the island without the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. Acadia National Park has many hiking trails over the island. The free Island Explorer bus is not running to all of their stops this year. Please go to the Island Explorer website for information. We are in an environmentally sensitive area having the North Atlantic within 150 yards of the entrance; that being said we are on well and septic.
