This Limasan is the both Twin Limasans I and II to be rented as a whole house, with two private rooms and bedroom with private entrance, balcony and bathroom, with a small common space we open to allow you to go from obe to the other. We built two bungalows under one roof. Its first aim was to build a modern life style family house, where parents and children have privacy. Can be also for 2 couple travelling together and want to get some privacy. There is one smaller and one bigger room. The first concept was to build a more simple and local style Limasan House than our other architect designed houses. It was created by our local villagers. It was inspired by their traditional building knowledge and the knowledge they got working on the more modern and eco sustainable work on the first Joglo Villa and Balai buildings, of the architect Yu Sing of Akanoma from Bandung. It was built using only local material, acacia wood and bamboo from sustainable plantation. We collect rain water from the roof into a big water tank located inside the building fondations. We treat through a natural system your gray water into a fish pound and last but not least your toilet output will produce biogaz and great fertilizer to grow organic vegetable and fruits to the future guests. We also rent out for honeymooners/couples our Deluxe "Omah Bamboo" Honeymoon bungalow, or our Rumah Bukit “Wild Haven” for 2-4people. We also rent for small groups or families up to 8 people our traditional Joglo stylish Villa family house. They try to follow their traditional customs which was very locavore, using product ultra local from the costal area and the salt being the longest travelling distance product, about 150km, volcanic pure natural salt. Some guest had some unpleasant experiences with what we call low cost non professional drivers. Our place is not so easy to find as we are not allowed no commercial organisation to put any sign and banners on the way. We can provide a mini MPV Suzuki APV (max 7 guests), a comfortable Suzuki Ertiga (max 4 guests) and our cheaper option, the farmer open roof local pickup Suzuki Carry (ideal for 1 guest, max 2 thin persons). Our location can also be accessed by car/scooters even if kind of "hidden in the bush" and you have to drive a short distance on the gravel Jl Watu Kodok road and not well known to many people. It is however located between two of the most popular beaches: Pantai Drini and Pantai Sepanjang and a couple of kilometer east of Pantai Baron, Kukup and west of Pantai Krakal and Indrayanti. There is also cheap option which is public transportation, recommended only for adventurous backpackers. There is a bus departing Yogya Giwangan bus station every day with no fix schedule, when the bus is full enough and stop at many places on the way direction Wonosari (half way/2 hours). Then from there if you are lucky, mostly during weekend you may find a connection to Pantai Baron (3km from here). If not there are scooters taxi Ojek who may bring you here. The distance from our place to major destinations in Jogja, such as the airport, train station, bus station, and palace, is about 45 km. The average time it takes to get to our place from those places is ONE and HALF to TWO hours, depending on the traffic jam. Type "Bukit Kelor" or "Pantai Watu Kodok" on (Hidden by Airbnb) maps to get here. We advise to use offline maps and apps as the 3G signal can be non existent in some area on the way and particularly near our place. You will stay in a still natural countryside ecosystem where humans need to open their mind and live harmonised with the nature and its inhabitants who were living here long before us. Even accepting sharing sometimes mutually the area with some bugs or geckos living around us. We try our best to offer best standard of cleanliness and hygiene but don't expect the place be as clean and sterile like western high standards big hotels as we are located in unspoiled indo country side, surrounded by farms, forest and beaches. Bungalows are not hermetically closed to get natural breeze air circulation and you may get little bit dust or leaves and salty moisture air from the ocean wind. The bathrooms have also open roof to feel the nature. We don't use chemicals to clean but natural soap, white vinegar and soda powder like our grand-parents did. This area is only open to tourism for a couple of years. We were the first to do it at our beach since (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) The local people still live around us their traditional farmer and fishermen Javanese life. We ask you to respect them and their customs as we are their "guests". The local people and us we don't practice "tourists" or "foreigners" prices, same price for anybody. All the prices unlike tourists area do not include (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) % services and taxes. We ask you to not use this opportunity to exploite them as they already have been for centuries. One of our philosophy is share, enrich not exploite. Their income and margin are very little that's why the prices are low. We encourage our visitors to round up and tip generously the people and the service you use and get if you are happy with it. They have the same right to get fair salary and have access to the same standard of living as anybody has. Not tipping is seen as you may not be happy with their meals, driving, massage or whatever they offer you. 10 to 20% is fair, but bear in mind that nowadays you can't buy much in a shop with (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) or (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) rupiah, so never leave just coins. You can also offer presents is you are invited or want to extra reward people. Tipping is not only good for your karma also you will get more respect and reward from the people. More you give is more you get in all the sense of the word. Please take note that our crew and people working for tourist at and around our area are not hospitality tourism professionals. People were farmers, fishermen, construction workers, public servant or office people etc... We are all new in this field and learning by doing. So cannot expect to get the full 5* resort standard service in our area, as tourism is very new. Our second philosophy is to limit our impact to the minimum on a fragile ecosystem area, with scarce natural resources to be shared with all the people living and visiting around the beaches. We don't provide AC but there is natural sea breeze (extra small fans can be offered on demand) and the architect built it in a way to make the most of it. No hot showers (not a must in tropical hot country) but fresh water (we can if you really need it cook hot water) and we and the earth will be very happy if you save water as we have limited water tanks and spring capacity particularly during the dry season. Please save electricity as we still depend on government coal power station (turn off lights, limit charging batteries). Please come with your reusable water bottle which you can refill with safe drinking filtered water (we are part of refillmybottle community). we just ask small donations (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) rp for small and (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) rp for big bottles to be put into our donation box, which we use to finance our zero waste project and the refill zero waste water station. Please be aware that in this area there aren't any trash management organised, people burn or dump trash in the nature, so please do not bring with you non compostable single use disposable plastic products as our place can't handle it or if needed bring it back with you to the city after your stay as many guests like to do. The closest ATM and very well furnish supermarket are more than 30 minutes scooter or car driving from our places. Only local warungs, toko. Credit and debit cards are not accepted in the region. So please take enough cash and what you may need extra.
