Talbot Barn is a Converted hay loft with central position in the delightful village of Marshfield, which boasts 2 pubs both serving good food and beer. At the end of the Cotswold way the area offers great country walks. 10 minutes from Bath park & ride, close to Castle Combe and Lacock . 5 minutes from M4 motorway Self contained private apartment We live in the Barn next door and are available most times for any queries about the Barn or surrounding area, but we respect the guests privacy. Close to Bath and Bristol,Castle Combe and Lacock, the English heritage properties such as Bowood, Durham Park, Longleat and Westonbirt Arboretum, Babminton, home to the annual horse trials is only a few miles away. Your own transport is recommended. There is a bus service to Bristol,Bath and Chippenham but frequency is limited. Uber is available in the area. Talbot Barn is a converted hay loft retaining many original feature beams, situated next to the owners barn. Living/Dining room has 2 settees, a smart tv and French doors leadin to a Juliet balcony. Kitchen has an electric cooker, induction hob, combination microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier. Bedroom has a Kingsize bed and dressing area. Bathroom has a walkin shower, toilet and heated towel rail. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi included. On street Parking. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from Marshfields village with excellent foodie pubs, the central stores, , post office, tea shop, newsagent and gift shop. Marshfield is a designated conservation area on the edge of the Cotswolds and contains a wide range of architectural styles, Georgian town houses, 17th century Alms houses, medieval barns, 12th century church and was a major coaching stop for London and had a thriving wool and malting industry in the 18th century
