Private access to own garden area with BBQ. Four miles from the Victorian Spa town of Llandrindod Wells. Eight miles to Royal Welsh Showground. A great place for a short break or a holiday. You will occupy a part of the ground floor in our Grade 2 Listed farmhouse. This is perfect for a couple to enjoy a peaceful time away from it all. The sitting room and bedroom have original features which include stone flag floors, oak beams and rather low ceilings whilst the kitchenette and shower room are contemporary. You have private access to your accommodation from the area where you park your cars at the front of the house. From the second private access to the rear of the house you may also enjoy a small paved area and large garden with fruit trees and views over the valley to the hills beyond. My husband and I are more than happy to assist and give advice on local places of interest. Llandrindod Wells is our local town some four miles away. Developed by the Victorians as a spa town in the 19th century it has interesting architecture, lakeside walks, 18-hole golf course, indoor and outdoor bowling greens, Radnorshire museum , the National Cycle Collection as well as cafe's, restaurants, shops, supermarket. We are ideally located for The Royal Welsh Showground events and the beautiful Elan Valley with its dams and reservoirs; fantastic for walking, cycling and wildlife watching. The Heart of Wales Railway line links with Shrewsbury to the north and Swansea to the south. Bus services arrive outside the station and link to other centers including Rhayader, Newtown, Brecon and Hereford. Taxi services are available at the Railway Station. We are surrounded by fields belonging to a working farm and as a consequence cannot accept visiting dogs. Walkers enjoying access to the local area on footpaths are reminded to follow the Countryside Code.
