Welsh Home from Home experience

Until now this has been our family home, hence the name Ty Cartrefol, the welsh name for Homely House. We believe that we can provide a welsh home from home experience for those are looking for it as well as a wonderful base for cyclists, walkers, tourists and families alike. We are excited to be opening our home for the first time. We are in a residential area however we are are in the perfect location for our guests to experience the beauty of the Brecon Beacons and other great places We have three spacious bedrooms which sleeps up to 6 people. One double and two twin rooms. all have tv and wardrobe and chest of draws. large living/dining area which includes 2 sofas and dining table which sits 6. Large kitchen with full amenities, one bathroom with bath and power shower. Garage with automated doors, which as bike racks, power washer, hose pipe and drying rack fridge freezer and tumble dryer, which is ideal for cyclists visiting for Bike Park Wales. We have a private garden which includes an outdoor eating area with umbrella aswell as a gazebo with sitting area, projector and screen and outdoor heater. There is also a BBQ and bar for the summer nights. We have a book shelf full of books, some games, puzzles, colouring books, jigsaws, playing cards, record and record player. A PlayStation 4, with Pac-Man, space invaders and pinball. A wide range of DVD's and a DVD player which will be great to stop boredom on rainy days. TV's in all bedrooms with free view and Netflix. There will always be someone available when needed We live in a village which has a cricket ground and club, aswell as a large playing field. There is a Table Table pub/restaurant, a local shop, just across the road, a Coop and small retail outlet at the top of the village. Bike Park Wales is on the doorstep and can be seen from the house, aswell as the Taff Trail and Trevethick Trail, which are popular with walkers and cyclists. Merthyr Tydfil is 2 miles away and is known for its links to the iron industry. There is a Cinema, Bowling alley and restaurants at the bottom of the town aswell as a retail park at the top of the town. Trago Mills is a large retail outlet which sells everything you can think of under one roof, aswell as having small outlet shops on site. There are KFC and Mcdonalds. The best pub in the town is the New Crown which does amazing food at reasonable prices and is also a great music venue. There are pubs, cafes,etc dotted around the town. We have good bus and rail links, which will take you to Brecon, Cardiff and Swansea and surrounding areas. We have good walking routes on the doorstep and if you have a car we approximately 45 minutes away from the Coast line. We have Bike Park Wales on the doorstep and the New “Zip World Tower” is 11 miles away. A great experience not to be missed. We provide a welcome package of the essentials, milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee, condiments, cooking oil aswell as washing up products We have a PS4. We have netflix, wifi, a variety of entertainment, including DVD's, CD's, vinyls with a record player, games, reading books and a dart board out in the garden. plenty to keep you entertained at night or in bad weather.
