Peace & stunning mountain views at Teres Farmstay

The perfect spot to isolate from all the madness! Our place is close to Mt Beerwah, Mt Coonowrin (also known as Crookneck), and the peaceful serenity of the Glass House Mountains, the picturesque hinterland towns of Maleny & Montville and only ten minutes to the fantastic Australia Zoo. You'll love it here because we are a boutique family farm growing fresh ginger & turmeric with the most stunning uninterrupted views to the mountains and total tranquility to match. The house is just over 2 years old and is yet to be properly inhabited - it was built by my mother who lives in the UK and cannot come to visit for the moment for obvious reasons! The finishes are superb and the peaceful location ensures that you will have a fully relaxing break. The house is not always available so please message us if are looking for a time slot that seems to be unavailable and we'll see what we can do. For coffee lovers, we provide a Delonghi Virtuo Next machine with milk frother and a selection of coffee capsules. We've also recently added a workspace with a killer view so our farmstay is now a great place to 'work from home'.....just be aware that our internet is limited to 4G capability and we do not have unlimited internet available out here in the bush. You have your own private house totally separated from our home - with undercover parking for one vehicle, 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully-fitted laundry and open plan kitchen, dining & living areas and NEW a desk set up for working from home. And don't forget the back deck elevated above the farm with picture-perfect views of Mt Beerwah. The rental is designed for just two people so if you are two friends, please let us know when booking and we will ensure the second bedroom is made up. I'm very happy to recommend activities, places to visit and the best places to eat in the Hinterland area. We can also arrange transport to/from local attractions as required by private negotiation. Australia Zoo is just ten minutes away by car. This area is spectacularly beautiful with a wonderful blend of mountains, beaches & fabulous food options all within 20 minutes of our home. If you're looking for somewhere out of the way to relax and enjoy some total peace, then our farm is perfect for you. We also have a huge range of attractions within easy reach by car; Australia Zoo, The Ginger Factory, Aussie World and all the delights of Montville, Maleny and the Sunshine Coast beachside suburbs. Glass House Mountains is on the Sunshine Coast railway line and is easily accessed by road just minutes from the Bruce Highway. We are about 1 hour from Brisbane Airport and 40 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport. We can arrange collections and drop-offs to the station if you'd like to come by train. There is a superb local supermarket, butcher & bakery in the small township of Glass House Mountains as well as a Tourist Information Centre and a local pub serving really good quality meals. We are an active farm so there's always something going on - we're happy to give you a guided tour, but please don't wander the farm as our biosecurity is really important to us and we are also upgrading our irrigation so there are trenches and potential trip hazards. There may occasionally be some noise from a piece of farm equipment like a tractor or mower, but we will always keep that to a minimum and certainly not operate at odd hours of the day - we cherish the peace and quiet here too. We have provided a Bluetooth speaker so you can enjoy some music, but please keep the volume at chill rather than rave party! The house has been beautifully furnished by my Mum and we hope that you will enjoy the space, but leave only footprints until she is able to come back!
