Main House: Sleeps 8 *PRICES INCREASE AS PER GUEST NUMBER* Annex on the side: Sleeps 4 A luxury holiday home in Royal Deeside, with a beautiful and peaceful location Situated on the edge of Blackhall Forest and within a five minute walk to the Dee, The Stables provides luxury, comfortable accommodation for up to 12 people and well-behaved dogs! Our main changeover day is generally Sunday. A large sitting room with log burner and tv, separate dining room, modern kitchen and WC are on the ground floor. Bedrooms include: 1 double ensuite 1 twin ensuite 2 twin rooms sharing a bathroom If you are more than 8 guests, then we will prepare the following rooms, numbers depending: Annex 1 double room 1 twin room 1 shared bathroom If you are looking for a peaceful location to spend time with family and friends, The Stables is the perfect choice. Jenny and Raymond, who live next door will provide access to the house. Jenny is the wonderful host how lives next door to the house and is available for any questions on site Choose from beautiful walks along the River Dee, or if you are feeling more energetic try mountain biking, horse-riding, canoeing or fishing. In winter the ski slopes are only an hour away. There are 2 excellent golf courses in Banchory and castles to visit at Craithes and Drum. 2.5 miles from Banchory (5 minute drive) 22 miles from Aberdeen (25-35 minute drive) If you would like, there is an option for Jenny to prepare and lay up breakfast and clear etc for an extra cost (we presume you also provide the food). On this same basis, we do have Joan who lives close, who can also prepare dinner for you too. Should you wish to have these extra services please ask when booking.
