Transformed into rustic style studio, the 'Casa de Lume' is an ideal place to relax and escape the city life. It has a privileged view of the pool and is fully equipped to provide you with all essential amenities. Situated in Leiria, more specifically in Gandara dos Olivais, the 'Casa de Lume' is set within a family estate. In the same space there are two studios with garden access and outdoor pool. Although some of the the pine trees, typical of that area, have been replaced by houses, the aroma and tranquility remains. The house is equipped with a kitchenette, recreation area, bathroom and a double bed. Extra mattresses may be placed for additional guests (please contact the owners prior to booking). Towels and linen are included. District and county capital, the city of Leiria is located in the centre of Portugal. Popular coastal resort 'Nazare' is approximately 30mins drive from the property. The Castle is the ultimate symbol of this magnificent city with a strong historical nature. The pine forest of Leiria, also well known in the country's history, it was extremely important to the maritime discoveries in that the wood of pine was used for the construction of vessels. The pine forest is still today a place of recreation where many families gather at weekends. The property is located 150 meters from a cafe, 350 meters from the Fire Department of Leiria and 700 meters from public transport and supermarkets. The 'Casa de Lume' is situated 3km from the city of Leiria and 700 meters from the bus stop. It has free parking on site.
