New for (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) A haven of peace and tranquillity in the heart of the Highlands with views of Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain, and no better place to watch the Harry Potter Jacobite steam train pass by. The shepherd's hut is cosy and warm with everything you need for a relaxing break including underfloor heating, on-suite with full size shower. Situated in the village of Corpach, a 10 minute walk from a CO-OP and 2 pubs. Follow us on (Hidden by Airbnb) for regular updates - Per Ardua Shepherds Hut The hut has tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge (without ice box), toaster, microwave, dishes, cutlery and glasses. Hair drier. There is a table and chairs outside and secure, off street parking. The owners live next door and are happy to help with any questions or problems. Corpach is a quiet village 3 miles outside Fort William. There is a CO-OP and 2 pubs. The western entrance to the Caledonian Canal is 10 mins walk from the hut, where you will find amazing views of Ben Nevis, Nevis Range and Fort William. Nepune's Staircase, the largest flight of locks on the canal, is 1 mile away. Treasures of the Earth is a unique collection of natural gems and crystals which is also in the village. Nevis Range ski centre is 5 miles away for skiing in the winter and a fantastic gondola trip up the mountain in the summer. Glenfinnan is 10 miles away where you will find the iconic viaduct from Harry Potter. There are many other filming locations nearby. Further afield are the famously beautiful beaches of Arisaig and Morar with spectacular white sandy. Fort William is situated at the end of the the 96 mile West Highland Way and the start of the 78 mile Great Glen Way. There is a bus stop 200m away where you can catch a bus to Fort William and a train station 10 minutes walk away where you can get a train to Fort William or Mallaig. This property is situated next to the West Highland Line with trains running between Fort William and Mallaig. The first train passes at 7.15am and the last one at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) pm. From April to November, the famous Harry Potter steam train passes up to 6 times a day. The hut provides fantastic photo opportunities for this with Ben Nevis in the background.
