The life in the town is determined through its location on the Tyrrhenian Seaside: it’s possible to say that there are only 2 seasons! In winter, the Mountains “Aurunci” protect the town from the cold and it’s never getting minus. The climate is mild as in the spring. Instead the summer season starts in May, when the beaches get set up with sun-umbrellas and thousands of holiday-makers start to come to Marina di Minturno. The bars, pizzerias, cafés, small markets on sea- promenade gain an atmosphere of vacations. The Beaches Reachable by feet: The holiday home is located on the beach of Minturno-Scauri, which is part of Gulf of Gaeta and Tyrrhenian Sea. In 5 minutes walking distance is the seaside promenade. On this 4 km long Lungomare you can find a lot of private beaches, which offer full beach service (sun-umbrellas, chairs, lifeguard etc.). There are also many bars, cafés, pizzerias, shops and markets as well as sandy beach areas which are free of charges. From the ANDREA’S HOME you should turn on your left and follow the street Pietro Fedele for around 300m till the beach promenade. It is located in a small, natural bay between two hills (Monte d'Oro and Monte di Scauri), which gives an exclusive location and atmosphere to this place. The beach consists of tiny stones (instead of sand) and it accentuates the blue and crystalclear water. The access of the beach is through the bar Maryrock, which is located directly on the seaside. In the summer time the bar Maryrock organizes musical evenings with life music or DJ. • The Beach Serapo Via Marina di Serapo, (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Gaeta The beach Serapo is located in the center of the neighboring city called Gaeta. It is around 20 km North from Minturno, after the city Formia , direction Rome. This coast is made by fine and golden sand, it is 1,5 km long and well equipped with private beaches and next to the beach there are a lot of restaurants, bars, sightseeing in National Park of Monte Orlando with the Splitted Mountain (Montagna Spaccata) and Turkish Cave (Grotta del Turco) as well as the city center with medieval part. Shopping Reachable by feet: All the first necessity things for living you can find on the main street of Minturno, Via Appia, in the small-town center called Simonelli. When you go from the holiday home, turn on your right on the Viale Pietro Fedele (opposite direction of the sea). Continue for around 400 m till the traffic light, which signs the crossing with the antique Roman street Via Appia as well as the arrival at Simonelli.
