Quiet and comfortable location near Zurich and Lake of Zurich. You are here on the famous „Zurich Goldcoast“. Meilen is 11 km away from Zurich downtown, along the Lake of Zurich, with wonderful view into the Swiss alps. You will live in green nature with the murmuring of the nearby creek, and yet reach Zurich downtown within 20 minutes by train. The holiday apartment is cosy and stylishly furnished and has a modern and attractive floor plan. It has a large west facing balcony and a conservatory with views of the countryside and the murmur of the nearby stream. You will enjoy morning as well as evening sun. And in wintertime, a fireplace offers cosy warmth. The apartment has modern furnishings. Kitchen and bathrooms are of white colour and the kitchen is fully equipped There are wooden floors with underfloor heating. Two bedrooms are at your disposable: one with double bed (160x200cm) & a single sofa-bed (90x190), the other a comfortable double sofabed (150x190) & a single bed (90x200cm). For each bedroom there is a bathroom with either shower or bathtub and toilet. There is WLAN. The address and the password of the internet access are written on the lightswitch in the entry hall. You will receive all relevant further information from the key holder, the person who will open the apartment for you and will hand you over the key. Kindly observe the rules of the house, which are placed on the table inside the apartment. Meilen is a community in Zurich, directly located at the lakeshore. Not only is the lake nearby, you can also swim, dive or sail in/on it. Everything in 5 minutes reach. And onto the East, you will find the local hill „Pfannenstil“, with splendid view of the whole lake. Also the golfers, horseriders and mountainbikers get their money’s worth. There are plenty pathways for hiking in the surroundings. And at nearby wine growers, i.e. in Obermeilen, you can taste samples of good Swiss red and white wines. The community of Meilen offers the infrastructure to cover all daily needs. The S-train S6 (22 minutes) and S7 (in 15 minutes nonstop) to the main trainstation in Zurich and also to Rapperswil, at the other end of the lake. With other regional busses you can discover the surroundings and also get on the Pfannenstil hill. By ferry you reach the other side of the lake in 10 minutes.
