Le Pélot is a beautiful and restful Gascon farmhouse located in 5 hectares of land and surrounded by vines. Situated 4km outside the historic hilltop town of Montréal du Gers, the farmhouse is at the top of a horseshoe drive with panoramic views. Newly renovated (2018) it has 4 en suite double bedrooms (two have twin double beds). The pool is the focal point from Spring to Autumn flanked by fragrant plants and overlooked by an outdoor kitchen with charcoal BBQ and outside toilet. Set in almost 5 hectares of land about half of which are vines that stretch out behind the pool, Le Pélot is a peaceful and tranquil spot with little to disturb your serious relaxation other than the bees visiting the lavendar and beautiful plants that surround a newly renovated 11mx5m pool. With numerous little spots to curl up with a book or music there is always somewhere to get a bit of me time or if you want to socialise the outdoor bar and kitchen are a great spot to hang out with wifi in all areas. We live at the far end of the property in a two bedroomed gite but the main house, pool and most of the land is all yours. We are situated 3km from Montréal Du Gers, a pretty hilltop village which has a bakers, butchers, 2 restaurants, a small shop and a bar. It is a 3 minute drive, a 10 minute ride on a bike or a 40 minute walk across the vineyards and woods.
