The Oast

A beautiful conversion of a Grade 2 listed former oast house (used for drying hops) sitting on the edge of the Little Stour river and set well away from the road fronted by the picturesque old village green. The Oast sleeps up to 8 people in four beautifully appointed and carpeted bedrooms. It has two large ensuite kingsize bedrooms and two twins. There is a large family bathroom leading off the landing with a bath and separate shower cubicle. Downstairs there is a hall with cloakroom, large sitting room, separate dining room, well equipped kitchen and separate utility room. All the downstairs rooms have french windows leading out to the private garden with decking over the river, a great spot for birds and other wildlife. There is garden furniture outside the kitchen looking out to the river. The green is at the front of the house. There is private parking in a bay outside the house. When you arrive we provide a welcome pack with basic requirements to start you off on your holiday. We run a nearby fruit farm where you can visit our wine and cider shop.
