Camp Cole Fish House

Owner's policy is to not host guests with no prior written reviews on Airbnb. This is a spectacular 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home built by a custom home builder. The house is steps away from the Trinity River, with over 1600 s.f. of wood-inspired indoor living spaces, hued teak floors, surrounded by outdoor decks, wooded areas and wildlife. It is very private and serene and is accessible to local recreational access areas. It will serve as a memory not easy to forget for those who book it. The home has a 42" flat screen TV for use with DVD player and VCR only, a movie library, stereo/CD player, propane BBQ with furnished deck, telephone, forced heating and airconditioning and wood burning stove. The commercial kitchen has a gas cooktop, large refrigerator, double oven, and everything guests need to prepare a gourmet meal during their stay. One of the bathrooms has a jetted tub. The property is surrounded by trees and vegetation and beautiful views. There is also an island between the two bridges with a great little beach. There are public boat launch areas right down the street as well as nearby recreational launch areas. The house also has a washer/dryer, significant space in every room, and for those needing additional beds an inflatable mattress is available upon request. It also has lots of parking on the property and upon request, boat launch access. Sorry, but no pets are allowed here. I typically provide guests with full privacy unless they request interaction. The neighborhood is a mix of Bay Area retirees as their second home and/or residents living here. Poker Bar is a private community with east and west side neighbors. Please go the speed limits in the area. The home is located 28 miles west of Redding, just off of Hwy 299. It is approximately 5 miles to the Douglas City post office and firehouse, and 8 to 10 to Weaverville which is a full-service local town with markets, shops, restaurants and business entities.
