home in country-quiet- 2 nights minimum

Up-north experience close to the woods/river. Very well taken care of- clean. Quiet atmosphere. Four swing pergola built around large fire pit. Woods for walking. No smoking in home. No butts on ground. Beautiful scenery. Many games in basement. No wifi. You may use my landline for any calls in the United States. My home is 500' off the road down a tree-lined driveway. At the end of the driveway is a circle area with lots of room for parking. Persons who are booking for the month of July will be staying in the basement where the game room is. There is a bed, a couch and I also have a leather bed for you. All linens are provided. You will have access to the kitchen upstairs. and there is a bathroom. There is an image to reflect what I'm saying. It's a down-home country atmosphere and very cozy. Living room, kitchen and dining room are all open so you can see the river and any wildlife out the large window door. Children are welcome. Bring your own food but you may use my condiments. Room for 2 adults-queen size bed/ 2 small children or one teen (may sleep on air mattress or couch). $5 per person per night after the firs 4 people. To the left of the driveway there is a regulation volleyball court with lights for nighttime playing with a row of pine trees great for hanging hammocks. Beyond that is my home with lots of grass and a clothesline perfect for hanging wet bathing suits and towels. To the right is a camper for rent and 3 RV sites with 50 amps each. Behind my home are 6-8 lounge chairs as well as 2 hanging wicker swings. At the bottom of the 100 foot+ hill with a waterslide with three water sprinklers to keep the slide wet and fun. At the bottom of the hill is the Wolf River which runs through the 46 acres. There is a 100 foot cable bridge to get across with a large grassy area that I keep cut for the wildlife to hang out to get away from mosquitos. There are hardly any mosquitos on the property. On both sides of the river are small beaten paths for walking. If you are looking for a place to have quiet and just chill and enjoy peace and quiet as well as beautiful scenery, this may be the place for you to enjoy. In the downstairs of the house are a pool table, foozeball, air hockey, shuffleboard, darts, pingpong, bumper pool and music. There is a queen size bed in one bedroom and other areas to accommodate people for sleeping and another bedroom where a mattress can be put and a couch downstairs with a twin bed. You have access to everything in the kitchen. If your vehicle breaks down, you may use my tools for repairs. I have a camper for rent, and a small and a large tent. See my "5 listings". Take care!!! The bathroom, upstairs, is very clean where you can take your showers. The upstairs bathroom is shared with myself. There is room in the fridge for food you bring. I give good directions to the city of Alpena as well as lakes close by. There is a country store only four miles up the road as well as The Country Depo a small, country restaurant. The food is great and very inexpensive. I live in my home and can answer any questions you may have. You can use my landline for phone calls and may use any part of my home for your enjoyment. There is a television in the bedroom for you. I keep my land up very nicely. My neighbors, who are all very good, are here for me if I ever need them but we try to give each other privacy. There is farm land around me. I own 47 acres with property on each side of the river. The handmade bridge will get you across to view the other side of the property. In the summer, the river is very clean to swim or wade, kayak, or canoe. In the summer and fall, I give hayrides around the block (you may inquire about this). I give very good directions and it's only two turns to get to Alpena from my home. For summer-The river is not deep so children can play in it. I have a bridge so you may take walks in the woods to the rapids.
