The wine and flower village with the beautiful old houses of Vénéjan, classified "small city of character" perches on a hill, thus offering a remarkable point of view on the Mont Ventoux and the Valley of the Rhone. At the crossroads of Ardèche and Vaucluse, it overlooks vineyards and scrubland, and houses some pretty heritage in the hollow of its pretty streets: a windmill, a Romanesque chapel and even a medieval castle to discover from outside. A pottery workshop in the colors of the earth awaits you there. Make the detour to the beautiful villages of Goudargues (19km), the Roque sur Cèze (14km), and the extraordinary site of the Cascades du Sautadet (13km). Above all, do not miss to discover the magnificent site of the Gorges de l'Ardèche which starts at 20km, and one of the many caves that dot the area. For lovers of walks in nature, the Cevennes are a pure delight. No less than three marked routes pass to Vénéjan: the GR42, the GR42 b and a PR. The owner of your holiday home offers a visit to his farm (preferably on Fridays) to discover some wines of Côtes du Rhône and local products.
