Victorian Surrey apartment, 'the about space'

A cosy pad from which to access Central London, Hampton Court Palace, Richmond and Kingston-upon-Thames, Windsor Castle, Wimbledon and the Home Counties where you can explore Box Hill and South Downs. Created to inspire, the apartment is full of art by local practitioners, friends and family. Most guests are surprised by the shear size of the rooms so while the apartment has an inviting atmosphere it also provides plenty of space. A spacious (1,300 sq ft) two bedroom apartment with huge family kitchen and living room. Wide stairs leading to large central hall-room from which to access all other spaces. All the rooms are approx 16 ft square. Large doors, high ceilings and spacious rooms makes this apartment a relaxing, roomy place to stay. The walls are covered with inspiring art by local practitioners, a gallery that changes as work is sold or new projects transpire! Access all areas. I live on site so am available for queries and assistance. I usually communicate with guests via (Hidden by Airbnb) during their stay. Foodshopping, transport and parks are all in walking distance. There is a fabulous family run eatery at the end of the road, 'Powers'. I'm often down there for breakfast or lunch with friends and colleagues. Paul, the proprietor is so kind and accommodating which makes me a frequent customer even if its just for a quick coffee and cake! Likewise the family run butchers across from Powers sells all kinds of amazing meat cuts and even make their own sausages which are Amazing! We have plenty of free parking at the property. The train station is a pleasant 20 min walk however between Uber and the numerous, reliable taxi services within this commuter belt there is no shortage of help for the 5 min ride (which will cost approx £5). Train Services into London are approx 4 per hour. 2 fast trains (approx 20 min) and 2 slower stopping trains (approx 40 min). The stopping trains will help you get to places like Hampton Court and Wimbledon by changing at Surbiton. A selection of fruit and Continental Breakfast items are provided on arrival to Kick start your stay. The kitchen is fully kitted out and there is an assortment of bits and bobs to help put together some home cooking: oil, salt, pepper etc. You will find plenty of 'on street' parking to the front and side of the property. The entrance hall has wide stairs straight from the front door up to the apartment. We have two lovely cats (Benny and Oreo) who do not enter the apartment but are allowed entry to the shared hall for shelter at night when I put them out from my own accommodation above.
