The Tiny House "La Bergerie" / La petite maison
Located at the country, in a lovely quiet little village on our property (we live in the adjacent house). Nearby St James way, the tiny house is simply waiting for you and your family. You will do activities in relation with nature (forests, hills, rivers, numerous hiking trails). You will visit remarkable places as Le Puy en Velay, a historical town, "La baume" waterfall, or Le lac du Bouchet (a lake surrounded by a forest). An educational farm is in the village with numerous lovely animals. The tiny house contains everything necessary to a cosy retreat ( for babies too !). The room has a surface of 21m2. Accomodation consists of a shower and toilet space and a living and sleeping area with a mezzanine double bed and a sofa bed for two adults or two children. Sleeps up to 4 people. There is a TV/DVD player and radio. The accomodation has a microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, vacuum cleaner, fondue set, raclette machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, drying rack and all kitchen ustensils. Electrical heating. Guests will have access to a garden area. A safe parking space is outside the property. It is possible to accomodate cycles with locks, too. All bed linen (10 €/bed) and towels (5€/person) are extra. We accept animals, two little dogs max. (10€ extra for each animal for the whole stay) but you're not allowed to smoke. We have been restoring the premises for 20 years now (my husband is a bricklayer and stone, wood and traditional skills are a passion for him) with our whole heart. But a good amount of work is still to be done. Consequently when having a stay at our home you will contribute financially to the restoration and we are thankful to you for that ! For information we also rent a bigger and lovely house at St Pierre Eynac (see La Grande Maison at St Pierre Eynac on Airbnb website) that can welcome up to 7 persons. Stone stairs will lead you to the Tiny House (large adjoining garden). Unfortunately, the access is not possible to people with mobility problems. We try to be informative and helpful, we love talking to people but we also respect guests'quietness. We enjoy sharing our location knowledge with travellers. The village is well-kept, friendly and peaceful. Typical village mainly built with stones and wood against a hillside. A little river (with a tiny waterfall)crosses it when it is not too hot. On the top of the hill you will have an astonishing view on mountains. At Christmas time, the village is fully enlightened. No public transport, you will have to own a car. The lodging is 2.5 km far from little shops and restaurants : baker's, tobacconist's, caterer, restaurant, wine and regional products shop, cash dispenser.
