The Wee Upside Down House is a quirky 18th century townhouse located in the heart of the historic town of Linlithgow. A one minute walk to the beautiful loch and only 5 minutes walk to the Palace of Linlithgow and an array of shops, pubs and restaurants. 15 minute walk to the train station (Edinburgh 20 mins, Glasgow 30 mins). This lovely house is perfect for exploring the area and is fully equipped for 2 people. The house is accessed through main front door on a quiet residential street with the bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs living space is open plan kitchen, living area with wooden floors. Kitchen is fully equipped. The house is a one minute walk to the Loch and 5 minutes to the famous Linlithgow Palace. Linlithgow sits in the middle of the Scottish lowlands within easy reach of both Edinburgh and Glasgow, which makes it an ideal base for a longer visit. The town boasts strong connections to the Stuart Kings of Scotland and was the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. It is also central to many Outlander locations, some of which are in the Royal Burgh itself.
