Lovely cozy 2 1/2 room holiday apartment, 55 m2 on two floors in 16th cent. family home in the Montreux area. Separate entrance. Fantastic view on the lake and Alps. Access garden, outdoor furniture. La Tranquille is very quiet and only the lovely sound of the fountain in the garden is heard. The view on the Alps and the lake of Geneva is breathtaking. The well furnished sitting room is on the ground floor with an open kitchen space. If needed for a 3rd person, there is a comfortable single bed in the living room area. Steps lead up to the 1st floor to a small hall and bedroom with very comfortable twin beds. Adjacent to the bedroom is the modern bathroom (shower/WC). Separate entrance and access from the garden to the flat which is on 2 floors (sitting room on the ground floor, bedroom and bathroom on the 1st floor). In the living room is an open kitchen area with gas stove, refrigerator/freezer. We are happy to interact with guests and assist them with directions for excursions or other questions. Being in the countryside but so close to town (10min. drive from train station Montreux). Lovely hikes, 10 min. walk away the famous steam train Blonay-Chamby, fields of snow-white Narcissus during month of May. Montreux Jazz Festival in July; Christmas market in December. 12-max.20 minutes walk to the station of Fontanivent, Chernex or Chamby. Train ride to Montreux is approx 10 minutes.
