Bassendean Escape

You will have your bedroom,bathroom and seperate bedroom as relaxing area as well as access to laundry and outdoor private courtyard. Entry is seperate to other areas of the home so you won’t need to disturb us when you come and go. We have secured the space so that your stay is going to be undisturbed by us while we are at home. We do have 2 boxer dogs but they will not be able to go within your space, might just be a bit excited to hear new guests! Now our children have left home we have 2 spare bedrooms and a bathroom that will be your own space when you are staying here. Our home is a quick 5 min drive to the Bassendean train station that can take you directly to Perth or to Midland. Perth airport is only 15 minutes away and we are located in a quiet street away from the bustle. Dedicated off street parking for your use during your stay. Our home has ducted air conditioning as for winter you will have your own heating in your rooms. 1 Bedroom has a queen size bed with plenty of wardrobe space while the other we have set up as a relaxing area with lounge. Access to the private WC and bathroom is off the adjoining hall for convenience. You can use the washing machine as well as the outside clothes line. If you enjoy the fresh air you have your own private courtyard to sit and relax. Entry is via a private side gate directly to the guest area of our home. Although we live in the home we have seperated the guest space from our own areas so you won’t be bumping into us unless you need to. We are only 10ks away from Perth city and about the same from the Swan Valley or Guildford for all the great wineries and restaurants that it is famous for. Galleria shopping centre is close by for any other shopping needs that you might have. A 5 minute walk from the home is the bus stop where you can travel to any other spots that take your fancy. Bassendean village is our local area for a choice of a growing number of cafes, bars and gift shops as well as the home to the Swandistricts WAFL side where you can watch the mighty Swans at the historic ground. Car is the preferred travel means if you are wanting to get around, otherwise you can Uber to the train station and access all the other spots that you want to. We have provided a small kitchenette area with bar fridge, kettle,toaster and microwave where you can grab yourself a coffee or toast in the morning. Plenty of local spots for dinner that you can easily get to.
