Hartley Wood - beautiful countryside retreat

The Annexe at Lake House, Hartley Wood is a modern, relaxed, light, airy and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful quiet location. We are conveniently situated mid way between Bristol, Bath, Wells and The Chew Valley all accessed 20 minutes by car. As well as many fabulous places to visit, eat and drink we are a 2minute walk from The Hunter's Rest pub offering food and drink all day every day! We take great pride in Hartley Wood as first and foremost it is our home. We feel lucky to be able to share it with our guests and know that they will love the relaxed atmosphere, wildlife and views as much as we do. We feel we have the best of both the attractions of Bath, Bristol and Wells with all they have to offer within a short car journey alongside an abundance of beautiful countryside with walking, site seeing and exploring. Cheddar, the Mendips, Weston Super Mare and Salisbury plain are also within an hours drive. I am available on site most of the time and quick to react to anything my guests need. However I like to give them space to enjoy their stay in peace unless they need me.
