Lodge on lovely quiet holiday park in Cornwall
Beautiful well appointed lodge set in Honicombe Manor holiday park. We have refreshed and improved the lodge for 2021 with a second shower, continuous hot water, towel radiators in both bathrooms and a SMART TV. The park is in the heart of the Tamar valley with beautiful views across glorious countryside. The park and lodge are well positioned to explore the wonderful sights of both Devon and Cornwall, with the Eden project, Plymouth and stunning moor land walks all within easy reach. The lodge is well appointed with everything you need for relaxing. All bed linen and towels are included. The hot tub also seats 6. The lodge has outdoor dining seating for 6 on the upper veranda and there is an additional 2 seater table and chairs on the downstairs patio. The double bedroom has a jack and jill bathroom with bath and shower. The second bathroom has a shower cubicle. The lodge is situated at the bottom end of the park, perfect for a quiet, undisturbed stay. The lodge is ideally cited on Honicombe Manor park with access to all facilities, to include; Bar, restaurant, shop, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and gymnasium. The lodge is situated beside a small babbling brook and is perfect for a restful retreat, being within easy access of the site's facilities but far enough away, to avoid the busyness. (Please check (Website hidden by Airbnb) to check up to the minute details on the availability of these facilities due to recent guidance) Honicombe Manor is situated in St Anne's Chapel, overlooking the beautiful Tamar valley. Nearby towns of Gunnislake and Callington have local shops and services and Callington also has a Tesco superstore and garage. Fancy a beach break? Looe, pretty Polperro and Port Wrinkle are all within a 30 minutes drive and larger resorts like Padstow, Fowey and Bude are all within an hour's drive. We recommend a visit to picturesque Kingsand (where you can get the river ferry to Plymouth), the wonderful Minions for a lovely moorland walk with extensive views across Cornwall and beautiful Cothele is right on the doorstep, with stunning walks along the quay and in the gardens. The Eden project is just 45 minutes away. The beaches and glorious resorts of Newquay, Padstow and Fowey are all under an hour away. Tintagel, Port Issac and Bude are all under an hour away in the opposite direction. Local attractions include the neighbouring donkey park as well as National Trust treasure Cothele House and Gardens. Moorland walks across Minions and Kit Hill for local history are well worth a visit and the traditional market town of Tavistock is just a short drive away. The area's central location is ideal as a touring base for Cornwall and Devon. The park has a shop for all your basic needs, there is also a pub/restaurant (Covid opening dependant) The lodge is cleaned and hygeine fogged inbetween each stay and sanitiser is located on entrance
