Villa on Wine Estate with PRIVATE POOL, Sea and Etna View, Terraces, Garden

A historical villa with a PRIVATE INFINITY-EDGE POOL and views of the surrounding vineyards, Mt Etna and the gulf of Catania. Villa Eremo Sant’Emilia dominates its huge estate and offers to its guests a well-tended garden and plenty of space for outdoor dining and relaxation. The private pool has a gradual entrance which is perfect for sun bathing and for children, and it boasts a hydromassage corner and a minibar where you can store all your favourite drinks. The pool can be heated by SOLAR PANELS up to 5 degrees above the outside temperature allowing you to enjoy a swim even when it gets a bit colder. Villa Eremo Sant’Emilia consists of a main building and an annex 100 m away. MAIN BUILDING In the main building are 4 bedrooms with en-suite private bathroom. A second living room with TV can be transformed into a 5th bedroom with a double sofa bed and a full bathroom outside its room. All bedrooms and the living room come out onto a big terrace with view on the pool and the coast, ideal for outdoor lunches. A fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher is next to the living room. Stairs lead to a reading room with another terrace and an even better view. ANNEX The annex consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a living room with kitchen and a terrace. Both indoor and outdoor there is space for dining together around a table. PLEASE NOTE: In 2022, between 7am and 5pm, there will be working in progress at about 100 m from the annex. We apologise for the eventual noise. PLEASE NOTE: A few consecutive sunny days guarantees the optimum functioning of the eco-sustainable solar panel system that warms up the pool. PLEASE NOTE: A wedding will be held at the villa on July 30th. As guests of the villa you will also be invited and it will be an opportunity to participate in a real Sicilian party! PLEASE NOTE: During the period between the end of September and the end of October (most probably between October 5th and 22nd), activities related to the grape harvest (Vendemmia) could be carried out in the huge garden of the villa. Who books in this period must take into account that for 2-3 days there could be harvesters or even children for educative purposes occupying part of the garden of the villa for about 5 hours a day. The time of the harvest cannot be established in advance as it depends on many factors: from the weather to the condition of the grape and the availability of the winemaker. It goes without saying that you would be more than welcome to partecipate to the event! The private pool with infinity edge has a minbar and a corner with hydromassage. It's open from 28 March until 7 November and it can be heated up by solar panels to 5 degrees more than the outside temperature. The pool measures 8x20 meters and its depth increases up to 140 cm.
