Make yourself at home in our beautiful self-contained two storey property. Separate from the main house with private access you’ll have the peace and quiet of a detached home throughout your stay. Wake up to the smell of fresh coffee which you can enjoy in the large, well equipped kitchen/diner overlooking the established garden. Amenities will suit your requirements whatever they are with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, washer and drier. There’s a downstairs bathroom with shower over full size bath; a great way to revive yourself after a busy day exploring what Nottinghamshire has to offer. The airy first floor living room provides plenty of space to kick back and relax with 2 comfy sofas, a TV, atmospheric lighting and a dining table to seat 6, if you’re here visiting friends invite them back to “yours” and wine and dine with them in the comfort of your home from home. The double bedroom shares the upstairs space. It overlooks the garden offering a lovely view of the comings and goings of the resident birds and squirrels as they make the most of the outdoor space; in addition to a very healthy variety of garden birds we regularly have a duck or two visiting the pond for a bath and snack. The bedroom also boasts an en suite toilet and wash basin, wardrobe and drawers. And an added bonus when you’re staying away from home, from one who knows, should you need a little distance from a noisy sleeper we’ve provided a blow up bed and bedding so you can relocate somewhere a little quieter for the good night’s sleep you might otherwise be deprived of! There’s space on our secure driveway for one guest vehicle – codes to the gates will be provided after booking. Bicycles can be stored in a locked garage. We’re two minutes’ walk from bus stops to and from the vibrant heart of West Bridgford and city centre via Trent Bridge for the cricket lovers with convenient stops for both football grounds. Five minutes’ drive to the National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont. Less than 5 minutes walk to a deli, CoOp convenience store, beauty salon and hairdressers. The property has proved itself an ideal longer-term let and a very comfortable haven during a short visit to the wonderful city of Nottingham. The property has gates requiring a code to access. There is parking for one car on the driveway with further on-street parking if required. Bicycles can be stored in locked garage. The annex has its own private entrance. We live in the main house next to the annex and will be happy to answer any questions about the accommodation, places to eat, visit or the general area. West Bridgford is one of the most desirable residential areas in Nottingham. The town centre is a lively hub of shops, restaurants and bars with a lovely park behind the main street. Nottingham's main sports attractions are minutes away: Trent Bridge (cricket), The City Ground (Nottingham Forest football), Meadow Lane (Notts County football), The National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont and MotorPoint Arena for Nottingham Panthers ice hockey (and concerts). The city centre is 20 minutes away by bus. It boasts an excellent shopping, cinemas, restaurants, bars, theatres and concert venues, an ice skating stadium, bowling alleys, mini golf ...
