Tommani Lodge

Tommani Lodge is an opportunity to rent your own fully private Gambian compound, allowing you to enjoy exclusive time with family and friends whilst providing a great base for your Gambian adventure as you explore this wonderful and friendly part of Africa. When you rent Tommani Lodge you have exclusive use of the whole compound with two apartments, a fully fitted kitchen, dinning room , barbeque area, and large pool which is maintained daily, towels and games are feely available . Each ensuite apartment sleeps two adults or older children. Apartments are cleaned and beds changed weekly (a daily room clean available at additional cost along with full laundry service). Staff are always on hand to provide information and advice, along with errand and taxi service (at additional cost). All airport transfers are free. Minimum duration of stay is 7days, but feel free to enquire if you require another option. You have exclusive use of the whole compound, taking advantage of the peace and quiet when you wish and yet near enough to Kololi and 'the strip' should you wish to spend your evenings there. When you rerturn you can take advantage of the fire pit, a lovely way to end the evening, Fire wood for the fire pit and charcoal for the barbeque are available on request (at an additional cost) Whilst our staff are available on request, they respect your privacy and will only be around when you need them, leaving you to enjoy your space and the sunshine. Bijilo is a friendly local village just a 5 min drive from Kololi and the ' strip'. There are plenty of local shops and a market nearby for supplies. The beach is within walking distance. Tommani Lodge offers you both the privacy of your own holiday compound and is convenient for all the local amenities and a chance to explore a local community and all it has to offer. You are near the main route into Kololi/ Senagambia, on foot this will probably take you about 20mins, there are always taxis passing and they will stop and offer to take you onto 'The Strip' which is a 5 min drive. We will supply you with a list of the local taxi tariffs, and tips and advice of the best places to visit and what you should expect to pay. Charles will be on hand and can help arrange sight-seeing trips, market shopping and a wealth of advice on what to do and how to get the best out of your Gambian holiday. Each apartment consists of a spacious double on-suite bedroom with own private porch area and patio with sun-loungers.
