Blackbird Cottage on Carson Creek - Entire Suite

You are renting the entire second floor of this private creekside home which includes a separate entrance, kitchen, dining area,3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a deck and washer/dryer. There are 3 queen beds, 1 twin bed sleeping 7 as well as a full size pullout couch, a twin cot and 2 twin air mattresses. There is a $30 charge per person per night for guests above 7. Owner lives downstairs. The 3 rooms are listed separately, so if you want this entire space, book in advance! This listing is accessed via a garden path with stairs. You'll land at the second floor balcony, enter a common space with a mini living space with dining area and kitchenette and 3 separate bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has a private bath. The other two rooms share a bathroom. There is a washer/dryer in the hall closet for your use. The rooms can sleep 7 plus there is a pullout full size couch sleeping 9 guests. There is also 2 twin air mattresses and a twin cot along with bedding in the closet in Room 3 allowing for a grand total of 12 guests if you are willing to get cozy. No Pets Allowed. You're welcome to explore the land, we have 9 acres which includes 1,100' of Carson Creek and two waterfalls. We rent a campsite here as well, so you may see other guests around the property. I live downstairs and am available if you have questions. I'm happy to interact or give advice on the area, or you are welcome to stay privately and keep to yourself. We're just a few minutes from the main center of Carson, a 3 minutes drive to SR 14. We're very close to Wind River, the Columbia River, and Carson Hot Springs. We're 6.5 miles from the Bridge of the Gods and PCT, and 5 minutes from Stevenson. It's 20-25 minutes to White Salmon/Hood River and 45 minutes to East Portland, 1 hr to Downtown. You'll want your own car, although there is plenty to explore on site with our creek, two waterfalls and a wonderful viewing area over the Columbia River within walking distance. This home was built in 2019 so you'll find everything fresh and new.
