Happy Riverside Camps is an evolution of our first offering, Happy Homestay, for those who want something more. Enter a real jungle, with real unadulterated nature and an inconceivable calmness that one cant even dream of when living in a city. Featuring spacious tents with double beds and modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and clean, sanitized bathrooms equipped with hot water. We make sure you return from your trek to utmost comfort, able to relax and rejuvenate for the next day's adventures. Located at the bottom of a near-private valley, adjacent to a glacier fed river winding across the landscape, Happy Riverside Camps is in a goldilocks zone of pleasant weather. and easy accessibility from major cities. Experience unbridled nature, hear sounds you've only heard in nature ASMR videos, and smell the actual, live plants that Chanel creates their scents from. All this while staying in modern and clean tents and eating gourmet food made with organic vegetables freshly picked from our vast farms. Sounds great, does it not? If you're still not convinced, we also have multitude of other offerings for every mood, like a beautiful chilling platform jutting out from the mountain, and the meditative peacefulness of the riverside, slowly flowing for perpetuity. In addition to all this, we can also arrange upon demand treks, and guided tours of the unique and exclusively organic farming being done in the village. There will always be staff present to assist you whenever needed. I am also personally present at the site a lot of the time, and am just a phone call away if required. There are many treks of varying levels of difficulty around the area. A guide can also be arranged if required. Given the remoteness of the area, there are no cafes or markets that are easily accessible. However, we have a fully equipped cafe on site that can serve international and local food on demand. Long term guests can also request for items to be bought for them from the market on the next market trip. There is a parking space on the top of the mountain, where our homestay is located. Guests can park their vehicles there safely and then proceed to trek down to the camps or avail our complimentary 4x4 shuttle service. Once in the campsite, walking becomes the only option due to the lack of any paved roads, although guests can ride mountain bikes if they are able to bring their bikes with them. A bike rental service is scheduled to be launched soon. The nearest railway station is in Kathgodam, and a taxi can be arranged for guests arriving there. For guests travelling via air, the nearest airport is in Pantnagar. Taxis can be arranged upon request from those locations to our property.
