Beautiful villa at 30 min from Rome. In the property there is a swimming pool, barberque and a lot of space outside. The distance from the lake is 5 min walking. There are bicycle available. We suggest to come by car, but there is a train to Rome. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed each, a mansard with another double bed and if you want there is a sofà- bed where other 2 people can sleep. In the house, there is a bathroom with shower. Also, you will have a fully equipped kitchen and a fireplace inside the house that you are welcome to use (you can find the wood outside). There is no wi-fi nor television because we believe in a technology and connection free vacation. The guests have access to the entire property, including the pool, bicycles, barbecue, patio etc. You can park the car wherever you want, better if behind the house. My cousin, who is a veterinary, has few animals (far from the houses) included some parrots, a donkey and a dog (very sweet and trained). Usually, my mother, Luciana, welcome the guests and give a few practical explanations on the house. Then she leaves. My cousin instead lives there, but she works all day long, therefore she is never home and you will have the pool all for you. By car, Rome is at 40 min. Nearby you can also visit Sutri, where you can see an Etruscan theatre and other ruins, the old city of Canale Monterano, the aeronautic museum of Vigna di Valle, the Castel of Bracciano. Check up also the tennis court not far from the property towards the lake, the centre for birds of prey, and the volcanic hot springs near Viterbo. Even if the property is on Bracciano territory, it is actually situated 10 minuted from Trevignano Romano. From Bracciano and Anguillara you can take the train to Rome (about 1h) or to Viterbo that is also a nice town to visit. There are also buses that go around the lake and link Trevignano with Bracciano and Anguillara, therefore if you want it is possible to come without a car. However, we highly recommend coming with a car because in this way you can better enjoy the surrounding of Lake Bracciano.
