Well-presented house/Great garden/6miles from city
Situated in Giffnock, a lovely suburb in Glasgow’s Southside with great transport links into the city. The house is bright and airy with lots to offer families, as well as groups of friends. The space can be used in a flexible way; the main double bedroom has plenty of room to add a travel cot (I can provide this), bedroom2 can be set up as a single, twin or king, and the lounge has a double sofa bed. There’s also a large garden. Great for a group of friends/families. Also good for couples. The house was recently renovated so it's a modernised space, full of amenities for a comfortable stay. You can park your car in the driveway or utilise the ample street parking. Guest will have access to the entire house. I'll personally welcome you at 'check-in'. Thereafter, you'll be able to reach me on my mobile if you have any questions as I want you to have a great stay! An attractive, welcoming neighbourhood; Giffnock itself has a lot to offer. There's a couple of friendly bars as well as a good choice of restaurants, including the trendy 'Catch', voted Scotland's Best Fish & Chip Restaurant in 2016. If you fancy enjoying a glass of Prosecco along with a tasty seafood platter, then this is the place to go. If you're looking for some cocktails then you should go to 'Southside' bar + restaurant. You also may want to try 'Pane e Vino', an authentic Italian deli selling a huge selection of wines, cheeses, antipasti etc - it's also a popular choice in the mornings for breakfast. For a family-friendly Italian meal, try 'Lucali', home of fresh pasta dishes and Neapolitan pizzas. Next to them is ‘Ça Va Bar & Brasserie’, a French-style (Website hidden by Airbnb) there’s plenty of choice locally for eating out. If you like the outdoors, there’s Rouken Glen Park (voted the 'UK’s Best Park 2016'). Recently refurbished with a fantastic play area, if you've got kids they'll love a trip here. It's also a great park to just have a wander around, or stop for a coffee at the cafe beside the duck pond. If you're a fan of shopping, Silverburn Shopping Centre, with over 100 shops for you to explore, is only an 8min drive away (there's a bus every 30mins from my street). As well as the likes of Zara, TK Maxx, M&S etc, there's a large variety of eating places and a 14 screen Cineworld Cinema. Reaching Glasgow City Centre is easy…buses run straight from my street or take a 7 min walk to the top of the road where you’ll find lots of buses running into the centre (30mins travel time approx). You can also take the train from Giffnock station (<10mins walk away) to Glasgow Central Station (train journey time is 14mins). There will be tea, coffee and biscuits available in the house for you to enjoy. Also, so that you can have a good start on your first morning, there will be orange juice, milk, bread, jam and butter in the house for you. With 2 supermarkets within a 10min walk away, and a Waitrose around an 8min drive, there's plenty of choice for you when stocking up on food for your visit. There is also 2 local convenience stores within a 5min walk from the house, as well as a great local fishmongers and a butchers, both at the top of the road.
