Riffugio Muzzerone is a charming guest house nestled above the town of Porto venere combining the beauty & isolation of a hilltop location which overlooks the picturesque Portovenere Ciao viaggiatori! Questo rifugio immerso nella natura si trova lungo il famoso sentiero delle Cinque Terre nella piccola montagna del Muzzerone di fronte al mare del Golfo dei Poeti, sopra Portovenere. Se siete amanti della natura, delle escursioni panoramiche, del mare abinato alla montagna, viste romantiche, spiagge selvagge e di sport come canoa / kayak o scalate su roccia e mountain bike ..... forse questo è il posto per voi! Se amate ammirare come in passato, il genio dell'arte umana è stato in grado di sposarsi armoniosamente con il genio della natura ... dovrete vedere la Chiesa di Porto Venere costruita sulla scogliera! La posizione del rifugio è sorprendente per la vista, è possibile vedere alcune foto nell'annuncio. Per favore, se avete intenzione di venire a trovarci è necessario fare attenzione all'indirizzo , perché con Airbnb non è possibile inserire con precisione le corrette indicazioni, forse perché siamo nella natura , quindi a grandi linee ci troviamo all'interno del cerchio che si può vedere nella mappa, ma è necessario leggere molto bene tutte le informazioni. Di seguito potete leggere il modo più semplice per arrivare : In Macchina: Da La Spezia andare in direzione Portovenere. Giunti in località Le Grazie seguire le indicazioni per la Palestra Rocciatori del monte Muzzerone,parcheggiare nello spazio adiacente alla "Colonnina Arancione per Chiamate di Soccorso" e proseguire poi per il sentiero AV5T (Alta Via 5 Terre) in direzione Portovenere. In meno di 10 minuti sarete al rifugio A piedi: Arrivati a Portovenere prendere il sentiero che parte da Piazza Bastreri (in piazza è possibile trovare anche l' ufficio informazioni turistiche),in circa 30 minuti di camminata sarete arrivati. Il sentiero è una tipica via monatana per questo consigliamo bagagli non troppo pesanti, scarpe sportive e una torcia in caso l'arrivo sia previsto di sera. Quando si arriva si incontra il mitico Ettore (l'uomo del rifugio) e si può così vedere questa piccola struttura immersa nella natura, al piano terra la saletta e la cucina e al primo piano le 2 camere condivise con i doppi servizzi con doccia calda. Non forniamo lenzuola e biancheria in genere,i letti sono provvisti solo di trapunta e cuscino, quindi è meglio se si dispone di un sacco a pelo o sacco lenzuolo per il periodo estivo. La colazione compresa nel prezzo è in stile italiano, con caffè, latte, tè ( scelta), fette biscottate, marmellata, burro e succo di frutta, se il tempo è buono, si può mangiare all'esterno sotto la veranda, in un perfetto relax guardando il mare e l'isola Palmaria (che si può visitare in traghetto da Portovenere ) Se si desidera è possibile anche usufruire della mezza pensione (ovvero pranzo o cena), in questo caso è gradita la comunicazione per potervi accogliere nel migliore dei modi. Included in the price is a traditional Italian breakfast consisting of coffee, milk and some bread or biscuits with jam and butter. Dinner is served each night, and usually consists of starter, a pasta dish, a main course, and a desert. All of this for just € 20.00! Wine is also available. We also have a hot shower! Getting to Portovenere •To get here by train the easiest station to arrive at is La Spezia, which is largest town in the local area. Getting from La Spezia to Portovenere there are two buses the No. 11, or, P. Porto venere is the last stop. Tickets can be bought from newspaper stalls/tobacconists, which you can find on most streets. Portovenere – the guest house. Leave yourself a fair bit of sunlight in order to make the ascent as in the dark it will be rather difficult. •There is a tourist information office in the main square of Portovenere if you should have any problems •Once you arrive in Portovenere there is still a bit of a trek ahead of you. When you face the main square, looking up Muzzerone (which is the mountain the guest house is on) you can either take a left or a right up the hill. The best way to go is RIGHT! The path on your left is a coastal path which is beautiful but is also a significantly longer walk. To be sure you take the correct path you will pass a small public toilet which charges 50 cents at the entrance of the path. Depending on the amount of luggage you have this journey will take different lengths of time with light luggage and a brisk walking pace it should only take 15-30 minutes. However with larger luggage and some types of footwear; sandals, etc. It will take longer. All you have to do is follow this path, until it forks (immediately after you pass a house on your left which has grape vines hanging over the pathway) at this fork turn left and directly above you, you will see the guest house. •There is also a way which one can drive up. From La Spezia go towards Portovenere Arrived at the locality Le Grazie follow the directions for the rock climbing gym of Mountain Muzzerone,walk across the street until you arrive in a square to the left of the road,as a reference, you will see the orange column for emergency calls Walk along the pathway AV5T to Portovenere,in about 10 minutes you will be at the refuge Other ways of arriving to Portovenere •Another way to get to the guest house from Genova is to take the regional train to La Spezia. This stops off in most of the Cinque Terre’s. From all the Cinque Terre’s except Corniglia, which is too small to have a port you can catch a boat to Portovenere . These boats do stop around 17:00 so be careful not to get stuck! If you love nature, easy hiking, sea, mountains, sports like canoa /kayak or climbing or mountain bike, romantic view, wild beaches, easy life far of the traffic but close of every comfort..... maybe this is the place for you! If you love to admire how in the past the genius of human art was able to married harmoniously with the genius of nature... you need to see the Church of Portovenere in the top of the cliff! The position of the refuge is amazing for the view, you can see some photos. The refuge is small but really nice, in the middle of the little mountain Muzzerone. Cose by is a small island "Palmaria" which you can go and come back in the island from Portovenere. If you want it's possible to have a lunch or dinner in the Rifugio Muzzerone. We speak little english language, (we need improve our english), but for the moment it's enough for survive! It will be our pleasure to host you! From all the Cinque Terre’s except Corniglia, which is too small to have a port you can catch a boat to Porto Venere. These boats do stop around 17:00 so be careful not to get stuck! Getting off the trail , you arrived in Portovenere you can visit its picturesque streets and taste the typical Ligurian,also along the paths of the sea which is rich Mount Muzzerone , you can reach the Cinque Terre If you want it's possible to have a lunch or dinner in the Rifugio Muzzerone. Dinner is served each night, and usually consists of anti-pasta, a pasta dish, a main course, and a desert. All of this for just €20! Wine is also available. E' possibile pranzare o cenare al rifugio, la cena viene servita ogni sera e consiste in antipasto, primi e secondi di mare o monti a seconda della stagione, dessert.
