Thanks to my workplace, I recently completed an extensive training course in Covid Safety, with refresher exams every month or so, this training has given me the tools and confidence to ensure I'm able to host for you, SAFELY. A new policy is the to have 24hrs between guests to ensure enough time is allocated to do a deep clean. I can work some crazy hours sometimes, so 24hrs is usually required. The AirBnB calendar now automatically blocks the 24hrs after a guest has left. That being said, feel free to send me a message, as there's a chance the deep cleaning has already been completed (depending on work shifts), allowing the calendar to be released. Tucked away in a quiet lane way in Coburg, only 15 km from the city centre. This home was completed in May 2018, so modern comforts are standard with this house. If you're driving, the driveway is all yours** as I have no need for a vehicle of my own. **To avoid disappointment, please advise if you will be needing the car space, as the space is for one car only and another guest might already have claimed it. Just a 3 minute walk from popular Sydney Rd, or 5 minutes to the incredible multicultural shops that run all the way from Coburg, right through Brunswick, there's always something new to explore. This is a 3 bedroom house, with 2 rooms available (this listing is 'Room 2"). This listing is for one queen size room with a queen size bed. Please note, there are 2.5 bathrooms, one of which is my ensuite. So the main huge bathroom is yours to share with the another guest if booked. There is also 1 toilet downstairs with sink and mirror, so no need to queue! I try to keep the cost to you as low as possible without compromising quality, as I have travelled and know how expensive it can be. However please read my "Other Notes" for more info. Please note, Scotty the cat also lives here. He's a Scottish fold/British blue breed and loves company and deep conversations. Very little phases him, although he's not a fan of shoes. Hidden in a lane way only 15km North of Melbourne, with one fully furnished bedroom for you (very comfortable lumbar support queen bed and base). Memory foam pillows from Germany also available. With floor to ceiling / wall to wall built in robes, laundry basket, carpets in bedrooms & reverse cycle heating and cooling throughout. All rooms are very private and the house is quite solid. Your room also has a chest of drawers, mirror and TV with chrome cast. No matter what is happening elsewhere, you're in total control of your environment in your bedroom. With a modern living area with stylish leather lounges (2x 3 seaters), there's always room to relax in peace if you desire. Perfect for enjoying the benefits of a 55" Sony Bravia 3D SMART HD TV (also with chrome cast), with a PS3/Blu-Ray player (large collection of bluray movies) & surround sound. Perfect space for keeping in contact with friends and family in comfort, or YouTube surfing, or perhaps you'd like to help yourself to a 3D blu-ray. Be comfortable using the casual dining area. The modern kitchen, although quite small, is functional and fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, cook top and amazing fan forced oven. There's a water filter and sodastream, either chilled or room temperature. The main bathroom is massive, a large bath & separate shower along with a separate toilet. The double basin and huge mirror ensures there is always space to prep for your holiday adventures (or to wash off the day, if you prefer). There's a laundry downstairs with one washing machine (front loader). Also downstairs, but separate to the laundry is another toilet with mirror and sink, so no queueing! Please note, there is NO dryer, but a laundromat is only a five minute walk from here. Of course, there's free true cable 50mb internet (comparable to NBN50). Getting around town from here is easy. 3 minutes away is the 19 tram, which will take you through to the city, all the way to Elizabeth Street and Flinders Street. This trip takes around 40 minutes. Alternatively, less than 10 minutes away is Coburg station. This line will take you to Flinders Station in the heart of the city and takes 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. If you need to get across town, a five minute walk will get you to the corner of Sydney Rd and Bell St, where there are many bus options that travel in just about every direction. The house has a Security system throughout and is alarmed, giving instant peace of mind. I cook semi-regularly depending on work commitments. The pantry & fridge are well stocked. There are also plenty of kitchen tools to cook when you please. If you prefer, there are some amazing dining options in the area, some who deliver. There are many more hidden features to this comfortable home, so if you have any special requests and/or requirements there's a good chance I can accommodate. All questions are welcome & will be responded to as quickly as possible. You have access to everything, except my bedroom and my housemates. Total access to the kitchen, laundry and living areas, including the courtyard. Wifi is included. No curfews, come and go as you please. This is a friendly home and always up for a chat. However, we respect your privacy. All emails welcome and will be relied to. Living in a quiet lane way and away from busy roads, the locals keep an eye open for each other. I'm friendly with my direct neighbours. Everyone else gets a friendly wave of acknowledgement when passing by. There are great cafes in this area. Grocery shopping is easy with Coles and Woolworths 5 minute walk away, along with good butchers, grocers, chemist, hair dressers and many niche shops to name a few. The Pie Place has been winning awards for years for their produce that's made on-site. The area is quite busy, with trains, trams and buses just moments away. But once the front door is closed, you'll hardly hear a thing as this home is solid. I know just how expensive accommodation can be when travelling, so I do my best to keep my prices as low as possible. Occasionally, guests can over use the utilities (gas, power etc). In this situation, I will charge a fee to try to cover the excess, as utilities in Melbourne are ridiculously expensive and my standard pricing just covers my costs as it is. If this is the case during your stay, I will give you notice first to give you the opportunity to adjust your usage habits. Please note, there is a cat here which is pictured. His name is Scotty (cos he Scott no ears) and is very friendly. Nothing phases him. He loves a chat too. He's VERY well trained. He doesn't jump on tables or benches, he'll only hop onto the lounge occasionally, but mostly my bed.
