Property offers 5* flexible accommodation, 2 bedroom suites with ensuite bathrooms for couples, or for families 3 double bedrooms with extra double sofa bed in bedroom 2. Large cozy lounge/diner with wood burner, heating, full kitchen. The accommodation is ideal for couples, families or groups. We recommend a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children for best comfort. The upstairs bedroom suite comprises Superking bed with separate lounge area. The ensuite bathroom features a romantic bateau bath for long soaks and an oversized high pressure rain shower. The downstairs bedroom suite comprises Kingsize bed including sofa with ensuite bathroom featuring oversized rain shower and laundry facilities. French doors lead from the bedroom directly onto the outdoor seating and dining area. At the heart of the property is a large, comfy lounge with log burning stove and farmhouse dining table.. The large separate kitchen is fully equipped with breakfast table and a wealth of modern appliances, including dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard with the addition of original artworks, Asian antiques, luxury fluffy bath sheets and Egyptian cotton bedding, offering our guests the ultimate luxury retreat. There is the option of utilising the upstairs master suite self contained lounge area as a 3rd bedroom, with double sofabed to sleep 2 guests. In the downstairs King suite there is a double sofa bed to sleep an additional 2 guests. Listing price is for the entire property. A short walk to the beautiful National Trust village of Lacock with its Abbey, which has been preserved as a film location for many historical dramas. Famously featured in Downton Abbey, Harry Potter, Pride & Prejudice and Sense & Sensibility to name but a few. Also nearby are Corsham and Great Chalfield where Poldark was filmed. There are numerous designated cycleways locally for exploring the area. We are ideally situated for access from the M4, with Heathrow airport only a 1hr 15 min drive away. The city of Bath is 25 mins drive or 11 mins by train from nearby Chippenham. A 15 min drive south will take you to the historic Wiltshire towns of Devizes and Bradford-on-Avon, both offering weekly markets & walks along the Avon and Kennet Canal. To the north is easy access to the Cotswold towns of Biddestone, Castle Combe, Malmesbury, with its Abbey, and picturesque Bourton-on-the-Water. Each offers a wealth of traditional tea/coffee houses, antique shops, gift shops and independent boutiques. Local Amenities Whitehall Garden Centre at the end of our road is open 7 days a week and has deli/butchery and bakery items for those extra treats. There is also a gift shop, cook shop, clothing and pet shop. During November and December there is Ice Skating, Santa's Grotto, Reindeer feeding and themed family activities available year round during school holidays. The Cafe is ideal for breakfast or afternoon tea and the restaurant provides meals until 6pm weekdays, and 7pm Thursday and Friday. M & S Foodhall, Sainsbury's, Next, TK Maxx, Costa Coffee and McDonalds are within a 6 minutes' drive from the property. Booking is for a minimum of 3 nights.
