Green Room - RedBuck Guest House

An 1834 Pre-Civil War home, with 3, second story, private rooms - each with it's own full bathroom. This is the Green Room, with a queen bed, plenty of sitting area, en suite bathroom with a shower (no tub). Upper right window in the above photo. This is 1 of 3 available rooms in the house. The room accommodates only 2 guests (no extra guests allowed). You may be sharing the common areas in the house with other guests and owner/manager. Along with your private room & bath, all guests will have access to the Parlor, the Dining Room and the Service Room (breakfast area) on the first floor, as well as a half-bath. We have a motto here; "Bed & Breakfast?? You make 'em both!" There is no daily maid service, and your breakfast is "better than Continental", available at 7:00 am, for you to assemble at your leisure. Snacks & drinks available all day. Owner/manager will greet you upon arrival and help you settle in. We are onsite and you may see us in the common areas for occasional socializing if you choose (or not!). Contact us anytime by cell phone if we can be of help. We have maps, Battlefield tour CD and plenty of recommendations for places you must see! Most "Everything Gettysburg" is walkable from here....restaurants, bars, museums, battlefield, cemetery, ghostwalks, etc. You have a front row seat as Parades pass right by our front door! You may need to take your own vehicle or public transport to outlying attractions. Rabbit Transit/Freedom Transit is available very nearby. Lots of parking meters in town. Either carry quarters or download the new PASSPORT app on your Smartphone. A few meters in town are now Credit Card friendly! There is no phone or Television in this room (See Owner's Suite for a TV). Pull up to the front door to unload your luggage if possible (ask us for coins for the parking meter!), then park around back of the house in 1 of 3 parking spaces - Owners Suite is space #3. Currently, there is no guest access through the back of the house to your room - Please use the front door.
