Nestled in the heart of the Pollino National Park, in Papasidero, in the province of Cosenza, in the heart of Calabria, is this semi-detached holiday home with a private pool. Located at 100 m a.s.l. but a few kilometers from the Tyrrhenian coast, this accommodation is an excellent starting point for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature. The property is on two levels and offers a large dining area on the ground floor, a kitchen with fireplace and sofas, a bedroom and a bathroom. The kitchen leads to the balcony which offers a splendid view over the valley and the river. On the first floor three bedrooms all with balconies and views of the valley and two bathrooms. The dining room leads to a covered outdoor terrace equipped with a wood-burning oven, barbecue, table and chairs, for pleasant outdoor meals. Adjacent to the villa, for guests, is a small outbuilding with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Guests have access to a large, well-kept garden with a beautiful swimming pool, whirlpool, sun terrace and outdoor showers. Here you can organize exceptional nature excursions, which the owner will be happy to explain. The surrounding territory in fact extends along the Lao Valley Nature Reserve, crossed by the homonymous river, where you can try adventurous activities with your friends: rafting, canyoning, trekking and kayaking. You can make beautiful excursions along the river, along numerous trails and mountain bike trails, or venture into the trees on acrobatic and funny trails at a nearby Adventure Park. Do not miss to visit the Grotta di Romito with the burials of primitive men and a graffiti dating back to prehistoric times. The coast with the major seaside resorts of the Riviera dei Cedri, such as Scalea, Maratea and Diamante is only 15 km from here. Your four-legged friend is welcome!
