Our brand new, high-quality king size bed will offer you the deepest of sleeps with quality bedding, electric blankets and a high-end lofty down doona with extra blankets. The studio offers a luxurious bathroom with walk in shower, Italian hand-made tiles and high-end finishes. Enjoy your own private courtyard to listen to the local birdlife or enjoy a coffee and your current read. The studio is located perfectly in Geelong. We are only a 5 minute drive from the Geelong CBD, yet located in a very tranquil and relaxed setting. A 20 minute drive to Torquay, Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads. This well presented and clean studio unit is perfect for an overnight stay, weekend escape or extended stay. The studio unit shares a solid brick wall with the main residence, which is on an acre and a half block with many established gum trees and native local flora and fauna. Relax in bed in the morning and enjoy a coffee or tea looking out of our huge window onto the garden. Guests will have their own private access to the studio (including a bathroom) through a private entrance, separate to the house. Please note this is a studio, meaning the bed is in the main room. Free off-street car parking is also available for 1 or more vehicles. Luxurious towels, crisp linen and a selection of locally made natural soaps, shampoos and conditioners are provided for your stay to make it as comfortable as possible. A split system provides air conditioning and heating throughout your stay. A television with free access to Netflix, Stan, Disney+ and Binge are available in the studio for your enjoyment. Guests have access to the entire studio apartment with bathroom and cosy fenced off garden area. Guests are provided with comfortable outdoor setting which provides a space outdoors to relax and take in the scenery. My home adjoins the studio apartment, therefor, most of the time I will be available to assist you during your stay. If I am not home, I am only a phone call or message away. Self check-in is always used, so you will be able to access the property with ease if checking in late at night or checking out early in the morning. Please let us know if you are checking in late at night to ensure some lighting is left on for your arrival. Moolap is a residential and industrial suburb of Geelong, Victoria, Australia. The name Moolap is derived from an Aboriginal word for nearby Point Henry, "moo-laa", thought to mean 'men gathering to go fishing'. Moolap is a large but sparsely populated suburb used for agriculture, industry and low-density residential development. It spreads from Point Henry and Corio Bay across the Bellarine Highway to Reedy Lake in the south. Reedy Lake is a state game reserve. There is also a wildlife reserve on the eastern flank of Point Henry. The land around Reedy Lake supports an 18-hole golf course. Moolap is located approximately a 6 minute drive from the Geelong CBD. Guests will prefer to use a car to get around. An uncovered car space is provided for your convenience. There is a local bus stop on the main road (5 min walk away) which will take you to and from the Geelong City. Taxis & Ubers are both readily available to and from Geelong for about $10-$15. Self-check in is used at this property. You will be provided your unique code 24 hours before your check in (unless requested early). This code will allow you to access the studio throughout your stay. Please note that the studio only has a kitchenette. There is no oven or cook-top, however there is a kettle, toaster, fridge, cutlery, plates and bowls for your stay. We have numerous restaurants and take-away options a short drive away. Uber Eats, Deliveroo and local restaurants also deliver to this address. Standard check-in time is 2pm. Standard check-out time is 10am. If you wish to check-in early or check-out late please let us know however a small fee will apply as our cleaner will need to be altered to these times.
