In operation since (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) 3rd Street Nest Bed & Breakfast has been in operation for 16 years! The owner is knowledgeable about accommodation needs and the local area. Both available areas are fully furnished and well equipped! The Lavendar n Lace Suite has a whirlpool tub/shower combination in the bath area. It is also equipped with bathrobes, curling iron/blow dryer, flat screen TVs, bottled water and soft drinks. A snack is also provided. A full hot breakfast is available every morning. The outdoor area has a covered front porch and large back deck. The yard is full of flowers, shrubs, a fountain and trees. A lovely place to hang out! I have always enjoyed meeting and visiting with my guests. I live in the Bed and Breakfast and will be present, unless I tell them otherwise. The neighborhood is rich with (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) character and is easily accessible to downtown. Our beautiful park is within walking distance and there are also easily accessible bike trails. The Nest is only 2 blocks from the shopping area in Lamar and numerous restaurants. Lamar has a PAT transit system available during the day time hours. A call is all that is needed. I'm available for transport from the airport and the train depot (only 3 blks away). Come and "perch a while" and enjoy Lamar and our surrounding areas of history and birding!
