Cosy house in Sawmill Settlement - a perfect base for all your exploring and adventuring in the beautiful Victorian High Country. At Fire & Ice, you can quickly leave the hustle and bustle behind and truly relax in the serene bush setting. Spend you days exploring everything that the region has to offer, Mt Buller just a short driveway, the Delatite River just a short walk away. Fire & Ice at Sawmill is a cosy little house nestled amongst the gum trees in Sawmill Settlement. Only a 2.5 hour drive from Melbourne. Fire & Ice has two queen bed bedrooms and a generous bunk room that has 2 x trio bunks (with a double bottom and single top) and 1 x single bed bunk as well. Quality linen provided. The Kitchen has everything you should need . A Nespresso machine, microwave, cheese boards etc. There is a dining table in this space also. The living area is the perfect place for curling up in front of the fire and enjoying the TV (satellite TV, DVD player or HDMI cord provided), a movie or perhaps some cards or board games. Enjoy watching the sunset on the outdoor deck or acquainting yourself with the spectacular birdlife that comes to visit. There is a bbq and also an outdoor fire to sit around. We also have a full laundry with washer and dryer in the second bathroom which you have complete access to. In addition to the fireplace, there are heaters in every room and a split system in the living room. Additionally, we have a drying rack for all your ski gear in the bunk room. There is ample off street parking provided. All bed linens and bath towels are provided. The pantry is stocked with the basics - olive oil, salt and pepper, sugar, tea and coffee. The location is sensational - only 1.5km from the gates of Mount Buller/Mount Stirling & a short walk from the Delatite River (400m), Hunt Club and Merrijig High Country Hotel (13km), Mirimbah Local Store (2km), Delatite Winery (15km) & Mansfield (20km). We won't be available in person but please text us if needed. Quiet, relaxed neighbourhood. This is NOT a party house. Sawmill Settlement is a quiet, respectful pocket & any loud music inside or outside after 10pm will not be tolerated by neighbours.
