Art-filled renovated contemporary colonial house

Welcome to our beautiful renovated colonial house in the heart of the Catskills New York! The house has been carefully decorated with a mix of country and designer furniture and is filled with arts. Our secluded 3 bed/2 bath colonial home sits on 3 acres but is yet just 15 minutes from town. Nearby you'll find many activities. We upgraded to cable internet in 2021 for remote working. You will have the place to yourself, but don't be surprised if you wake up to deer grazing in the yard! RELAXING Curl up in our large, light and art filled living room with comfortable sofas overlooking nature. The layout is fully open and furnished with a mix of designer and simple country-style furniture. Relax on the front porch to look at partial mountain view or sit on the back porch’s large table under the shadow of the pine tree to enjoy nature and our well maintained property. There you can look at dears frequently visiting our property and listen to birds and fireflies chirping in the summer. DINING Cook in our renovated kitchen with all needed appliances and cooking equipment or cook outside on the weber barbecue grill. Our outside 8 feet dining tables and two porch/open decks are both perfect for dinner parties. SLEEPING Rest up in any of the 5 beds: 1 king size bedroom, 1 king size bedroom with 2 bunk beds and 1 queen size bedroom. All bedding and toiletries are provided. AIR CONDITIONNING We don't have air conditioning as summers are not as hot as in the city -with historical temperatures between 80 during the day to 55 at night in July and August. However, we have three fans in the house in case you need them! INTERNET We changed in January 20, 2021 for Cable Internet with a 20-35 download mbps speed which allows several users at the same time being on Zoom and streaming and downloading films. Upload is 400 mbps. OUR HOUSE IS FOR SALE: contact us if interested! While we don't live nearby, we will be make sure to be available to answer promptly any questions you might have during your stay. Narrowsburg, NY is a charming and really hip Catskills town only 2 hours from New York City. It has been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Vogue, New York Magazine, Travel + Leisure and more. Our home is only 15 minutes drive from the city center. The town sits along the Delaware River and by a small mountain, making it an ideal outdoor destination for casual skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming and kayaking. For shopping, food and culture, you'll find cute design boutiques, art galleries, antique shops, as well as some of the best upstate restaurants here. And just a town over, discover Bethel Woods, home of the original Woodstock! You will need a car to enjoy Narrowsburg. Driving is the easiest way to get around, but if necessary, Metro-North operates trains to Port Jervis, NY (30 minutes away). Coach USA/Shortline operates buses to Honesdale, PA and Monticello, NY (25 minutes away). Please note that we don't accept guest below 25 years old unless they are children staying at the house with their parents. Guests are expected to be really careful about the artworks that we have at the house. No parties are allowed.
