Mountain View- Privacy, Space, great value

Welcome to Mountain View. Basic amenities. 5 STAR VIEWS, PRIVACY, & LOADS OF SPACE! This lockwood style house was built in the early 80s & has most of its original fittings. Set half a km back from the road on a 2 acre lifestyle block mountain view sits on a hillside, overlooking the sorrounding countryside & Maungatautari mountain. On the property we keep bees, sheep, chickens, rabbits & 2 friendly cats. This is our family home that we rent out while we're on holiday. We tidy our junk away into a couple of locked cuboards but leave plenty of books and toys out for you! This is a 3 bedroom home, you will have access to the entire house. Bedroom 1: double bed Bedroom 2: 1 bunk, 1 single bedroom 3: king size bed and ensuite. Lounge: 2 couches, (3 if fold out is not made up as a bed)1 arm chair. Sleeping arrangments in lounge: fold out couch (on request). Kitchen: Oven, stove top, microwave, fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery, pots & pans. There is a toilet and a separate bathroom off the laundry area (with seperate shower and bath). For stays of more than a week we can give guests access to washing machine. Outside there is a trampoline, slide, swings & trees to climb! If we are around we can meet you at the property to show you around & tell you about local attractions, otherwise keys and information will be left for you & we will be a phone call away. 12 min drive to Putaruru where you can pick up supplies from the local super market or buy take out. (they'll even deliver to the house). Out in the Styx Restaurant is only 20 mins drive away and is a great place to dine (bookings only). Rhubarb Cafe in Arapuni (5 mins away) is great for a snack or a drink if you are walking or biking in the area. We are close to Sanctuary Mountain (Maungatautari) for walks, Lake Arapuni and Karapiro for boating, rowing and swimming, the Waikato River Trail for biking and walking, CastleRock and Froggatt Edge for rock climbing. Within 40 mins drive is Cambridge, Hobbiton, Tirau and Te Awamutu. This is a fantastic property for families but please enquire if you are bringing young children as there are some water features on the property you should be aware of. Our cats normally sleep inside and can let them selves in through the flyscreens! The only way to keep them out is to keep the windows shut and lock the cat door. They are very friendly ;)
