2 Rosemichael House is quietly tucked away in Penryn, one of Cornwall's oldest market towns just under 2 miles from buzzing Falmouth Town, historic sites and tranquil beaches, making it the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The spacious 3 story town house is just a stones through from the beautiful Penryn Quay with panoramic river views over to Flushing. Rosemichael House is a large spacious, well-equipped high-spec home with beautiful oak wood and coastal furnishings throughout. The fully equipped kitchen comfortably seats 8 people, leading into a cosy snug where children can play or adults can relax in view of dinner being made. With a separate lounge, spacious bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms (one with a 2 metre walk-in rain shower and another with a bath and shower over head) Rosemichael House makes the perfect house for a family or large group. The property right next door is a mirror image, therefore if you're looking for a larger group booking for 16 people for the convenience of a wedding for example, please get in contact. We also have another property near by that holds up to 7 people. We are excited to show these beautiful houses on here for the first time this year and look forward to making our guests as comfortable as possible throughout their stay. Guest access: Parking: Feel free to park your car in the private driveway at the house, please take your neighbour into consideration when parking to ensure they can also come and go easily. (second car parking on request) Back Garden: The back garden and outdoor dining area are shared with your neighbour (who is also on holiday). Please be considerate, why not share a cream tea and get to know them. We will be adding further outdoor dining furniture this summer. Towels: We have provided a towel for each guest, along with tea towels in the kitchen and hand towels for the bathrooms. We ask that such towels remain in the house and you use your own towels for the beach. High Chair and Travel Cot: on request. Please feel free to contact us whilst on holiday for any advice, we plan to meet and greet all our guests at a convenient point throughout their stay. The house is tucked away, a mile from the hustle and bustle of Falmouth, making it the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Enjoy a local Cornish breakfast on the water at Muddy Beach Café, Bar, Restaurant – positioned on Jubilee Wharf, Penryn Quay, just a 5minute walk from the house. Visit the local fishmongers Seaborne Fish, just 5 minutes walk from the house offering local caught fish. YOUR NEIGHBOURING TOWN FALMOUTH… Relax, unwind and take in the stunning views across Falmouth Bay, just a stone’s throw away from buzzing Falmouth Town, historic sites and tranquil beaches. Uncover nature right on your doorstep and explore Cornwall’s dramatic and ever changing coastline. The house is perfectly placed for you to set off for a stunning coastal walk across several beaches. The most famous being Falmouths Gyllyngvase Beach (one of seven beaches in Cornwall to be awarded Blue Flag status). Enjoy a Cornish breakfast/lunch/dinner at the award winning Gylly Beach Café before heading over the cliff tops to Swanpool Beach. For those wanting to stretch their legs a little further continue the walk taking in the tranquil sites overlooking the estuary of the River Fal and on to Maenporth Beach and Cove. Each of the local beaches host an array of water-sports for all the family, from lazy Paddle Boarding in the bay to exhilarating Kayaking tours up through the lush Helford River, to beach fitness and Paddle-Board-Yoga! (Enquire at the WeSUP Paddleboard hut on Gylly Beach) Gym and tennis fans can pay for a day pass at the famous St Michaels Hotel & Spa, just opposite Gylly Beach, or sign up for a (not so easy) Beach Boot Camp session at WeSUP. From Gylly Beach why not take a leisurely stroll up to the historic Pendennis Castle and enjoy a Cornish ice-cream over looking the panoramic views of Falmouth Bay, Carrick Roads (Cornish meaning "rock anchorage") and over to the fishing village of St Mawes. Or discover Falmouth’s maritime heritage with a visit to the world famous National Maritime Museum located on the harbour side, at the edge of Falmouth Town in Events Square. The town offers a charming mix of shops and art galleries, enjoy a painting or pottery lesson or shop for local produce and Cornish gifts along the high street.
