Charming Getaway Cottage

It is ski season and the Homestead Resort slopes are open. Time for a vacation in the mountains at my cozy cottage less than 3 miles from the Homestead Resort. This charming cottage is 1100 sq. ft. and less than 1 mile from the Homestead Resort. Close proximity to Warm Springs, and all the attractions Bath County, Va. offers. Perfect for hiking, golf, skiing, hunting, fishing and family getaways. Pet friendly. The cottage is 3 bedrooms , one bath, living room, dining room, kitchen and den. The den has a fireplace and there is a fire pit in the backyard. Pets are allowed with owner permission. The location is perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts to include hiking, golfers, fishermen, hunters and skiing. Families will love the conveniences close by and a back yard for the children and pets to play in. A few Hiking areas: 1. Hidden Valley Dispersed Recreational Area 2. Douthat State Park 3. Warm Springs Mountain Preserve 4. Lake Moomaw/Bolar Mountain Recreational Area Fishing: Jackson River Golf: Homestead Resort- 2 championship courses Skiing: Homestead Resort Zip Line: Homestead Resort Hunting: Jefferson National Forest - over 50% of the area is in the Jefferson National Forest I will give you access to a key at the time you arrive at the house. The neighborhood consists of small cottages. At the bottom of the street is a gas station and the grocery store is within walking distance. You are close to the Homestead Resort and restaurants in the area. There is no public transportation. You can park in the driveway.
