Crown Cottage is a beautiful retreat; we are lakefront with a private pier & unobstructed views. The cottage has been a decade-long summer project for our family - a labor of love as we modernized without losing the quaint nostalgia. Our guests will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living area with simple furnishings. We invite you to relax and enjoy the serene panoramic views of the lake or venture out to swim in the clear waters. Includes all bed linens & towels. See Photos. This cottage is located near Camp Mack on Waubee Lake. Guests can enjoy a quiet and relaxing break then add some excursions to nearby places of interest in Winona Lake, Warsaw, Goshen, Syracuse, or Nappanee. Business travelers will find this a welcome respite. Those traveling for pleasure can enjoy a private pier and the public beach - with the newly renovated children's park, basketball hoops, shelters, and grills. We have a smart TV with Netflix and other streaming apps. Local channels are not available at this time. Guests will have access to the entire cottage, a lakeside brick patio, a private pier, and off road parking. This is a 3 bedroom / 1 bath ranch style cottage with open-plan living, dining, kitchen. *Please note that the established stone fire pit is the neighbors. We have a mobile fire pit available for guests - bring your own kindling & roasters. Fire Pit is to be cleaned and returned to the garage at the end of the stay. We live locally and are available if needed. Our preferred method of contact is via Airbnb messaging. We are always happy to assist our guests! In an emergency or time-sensitive situation, please call. Great neighbors! New children's park within walking distance with public beach access and boat ramp. We often see bikers and joggers. The local park has specialized parking for Amish horse & buggy carriages. Additional parking available at public park. We have a canoe and kayaks for guests. Guests will need to walk from the driveway or stairs from upper-level parking to access the cottage. Off road parking is located directly in front of the garage from the main road. We share the sloping driveway with our neighbors - please be sure to not block it. We have off-road parking at the top of the drive. Guests can park on the concrete pad immediately in front of the cottage for loading/unloading only. We have a surcharge for any overnight guest not on the original booking request. This cottage is only set up to accomodate up to 5 people maximum total capacity. Waubee Lake is a no-wake lake, meaning that the speed limit is 10 MPH. Our guests enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing.
