Twin room with shared bathroom Cork

A comfortable room with 1 double and 1 single bed above a cafe (where breakfast is served at €5.50 per person) in the heart of West Cork, on the Wild Atlantic Way - Route N71. Ideally situated to discover all the best West Cork has to offer. We are ideally situated to discover all the best West Cork has on offer! We are easy to find and walking distance from the traditional fishing village of Union Hall and the scenic village of Glandore, close to Clonakilty, Rosscarbery and Skibbereen. Beside this room we have 2 double en-suite rooms, and another 1 single and double room which share a bathroom. This room shares a main entrance with another 3 rooms ( don't worry all separate keys) and a bathroom with 1 single and 1 double room. There is ample parking and storage for bicycles etc. Breakfast is served at the cafe below at €5.50 per person where there is also free WiFi available (unfortunately due to thick walls in old building we can not guarantee good coverage upstairs) A washer and dryer are available for a nominal fee should you need them. While I aim to be there when you arrive, this is not always possible, however there is always a trusted person here who will answer any questions you may have about the local area. Leap is at the heart of West Cork and has all the best things it has on offer close by! If you are into walking, swimming, surfing, sailing, cycling, food, history, music, or a good pint, this is the place to be. Do not miss out on a whale/dolphin watching trip, Drombeg stone circle, Rineen woods where the fairies live, and a night time kayak! Our local well known music venue ( Connollys of Leap) is practically next door. Also, Clonakilty and Skibbereen are not far away where great music can also be heard all through the year. We are on the N71 just over an hours drive from Cork airport. The bus stop is about 2 minutes walk away ( time tables vary according to season) while you are here, walking, cycling or driving are your best options. But hey, you might not want to go anywhere and/or one of the locals might offer you a lift! Leap has 3 pubs, 4 eateries, 1 shop/petrol station, a playground within a 10 minute walk. Further but still within walking distance, there are more pubs and eateries, an award winning lifestyle shop, a fish shop, a small supermarket and plenty more things that you will just have to discover when you get here. Most of all, the locals are friendly.
