Little Spring Barn, Blackford, Wedmore, Somerset
A stunning little 17th century converted Cider Barn. This little cottage has two spacious double rooms (the larger of the two also has a single bed). Lounge-diner with wood burner, galley kitchen. Free parking in the pub car park across the road. Beautiful gardens shared with main house. Bedroom one has a King Size bed and a Single Bed. Bedroom two is a standard double. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle. Traditional Somerset Pub across the road (less than 20 metres). Serving great food and Real Ale. We do not allow pets, this is not because we don't like them but our own little dog 'Speck' finds other people's pets a little disconcerting. Close to Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells, Bristol and Bath. Plenty of great walks in The Mendip Hills, The Levels and on the Quantocks (all areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Little Spring Barns nestles within the beautiful gardens of the main house 'Spring Barns' so you will almost certainly see the owners. Blackford is a hamlet in the parish of the larger (though not much) village of Wedmore. There is one excellent pub. The nearby village of Wedmore has several pubs, shops and restaurants. Car or Motorcycle is best though there is a local bus service from outside the pub. The nearest railway station is Highbridge and Burnham (direct trains to London, Bristol and Taunton. Secure parking for motorcycles and bicycles available (in the Barn).
