Riverside Character- Classic Room, Queen Bed

A private, well appointed guest room in our character home with it's warm, inviting décor and restful ambiance. The use of rich and serene colours, antique and vintage furniture create an aesthetically pleasing environment, as well as the beautiful view of the river and wide vista of trees. We are centrally located for easy access to the river walkway, city life and events. We can accommodate 9 guests in my other listings RIVERSIDE PRIVATE SUITE, COLONIAL ROOM, EXECUTIVE ROOM and THE LOFT The accommodation is located in the central city. The outlook is of the Waikato river and a great vista of trees, so there is a real sense of getting away from it all with access to everything on your door step. Our house is warm and cosy in winter and cool, light and airy in the summer. There are 4 other guest rooms available that can accommodate up to 9 people travelling together. Guests have access to a formal lounge for their use only. The family dining area for breakfast, relaxing and for TV or movie watching is a shared space. An outdoor pool and lounging poolside chairs are available. Downstairs lounge area with large screen TV and pool table are available if you book the guest room under Private Space. We live on site and are available to interact with guests. The formal lounge is for guests to have as their own space or can join us in the family room. We will be around to chat and help with anything required, but we also give our guests their own space to relax. We are very close to all the event centres and sports stadiums. We have lots of cafes, restaurants and bars in close proximity as are the supermarkets and shops. The river walkway is beautiful and allows for long walks or bike rides. The Hamilton Gardens are world class and worth a visit. We are centrally located to allow day trips to beaches, bush walks and other outdoor pursuits. We have onsite parking. There is a shuttle service available to and from the airport. A free bus service is a 5min walk away which circulates the City centre every 10mins until 6 pm. This also connects with the travel centre for access to intercity and city buses. A walk to the City centre is 15 mins. We are happy to drive people into the city. A bus service to the Fieldays is a 5 min walk.
