Quaint and Quiet

Our cozy home is just four short miles from Abingdon Historic District and the Barter Theatre. The Virginia Highlands Festival is a yearly event and runs for 10 days from the last weekend in July to the first weekend in August. There are many very fine restaurants in Abingdon; the Tavern, Peppermill and 128 Pecan. Bristol, Va houses the Birthplace of the Country Music Museum, as well as the Bristol Motor Speedway. This listing is for a very comfortable room equipped with a queen size bed. In the hallway is a seperate bathroom with a full-size tub/shower. You will have access to common areas as well as the fully stocked kitchen. We also have a front and back porch where you may sit and enjoy the outdoors. You may also smoke in this area. I like giving my guests space. However, any questions or concerns are welcome and will be addressed by either myself or my mother. The neighborhood is quiet and less traveled roads make it a wonderful place to take a early morning or evening walk. There is no public transportation Coffee, bottled water, orange juice, muffins/doughnuts will be served at the guests request.
