The Pialba Room - Quality Room in a Great Location

The Pialba Room is one of four quality guest rooms at Villa Cavour, a charming character home, in beautiful Hervey Bay. Villa Cavour has an Aussie/Italian beachy vibe and is only 250-metres from the ocean and Hervey Bay’s famous Esplanade. Villa Cavour is the perfect destination; close to beaches, cafes, shopping, and other attractions. We can't wait to welcome you. If you have more than two guests, we have three more large ensuited rooms available, as well as rollaway beds if required. The Pialba Room is a large upstairs room with a king bed and private ensuite. French doors lead to a shared balcony, which faces both the sunrise and the pool and has views of the ocean and Fraser Island. The balcony also provides external access to the room. The internal door leads to the front door and to stairs that open into the large shared living, dining and kitchen areas downstairs. Large sliding doors create indoor/outdoor flow from the living areas to the backyard, large pool and pool cabana. All linen and towels are provided. All rooms have a large wardrobe and a small fridge with chilled water. Pool towels are also provided. Villa Cavour provides simple self-help breakfast food (toast, spreads, cereal, yoghurt and fruit). We do not provide any other meals, however, guests are able to cook their own meals in the kitchen, or eat out at one of Hervey Bay's many great cafes or restaurants. Fridge and freezer space is available for guests in the kitchen and the drinks buffet has a range of complimentary tea, coffee, and chai. Should you need more than one room, we have three other rooms available at Villa Cavour. These can be found under listings for the Scarness Room (with two king single beds), the Torquay Room (with a king bed), and the downstairs Urangan Room (with a queen bed). Villa Cavour can also be booked as an entire house. We can sleep 8 guests in 5 beds. A rollaway bed can be added to any of our rooms, however, older children may be best accommodated in the Scarness Room, with their caregivers in the adjacent Pialba or Torquay rooms. Hervey Bay is mostly flat and very easy to walk around. It is a very simple 250-metre stroll from Villa Cavour to the 17 kilometres of walking footpath along the Esplanade, with beach access, rest areas, cafes, etc. The popular Brew & View cafe is just a short walk around the corner. Driving in Hervey Bay is also very easy. Villa Cavour has off-street parking for guests on our spacious property. Villa Cavour is a small hotel – staying with us is not like staying in a regular home. We live in a separate apartment inside the house, with our own living areas, kitchen, etc. We love seeing our guests, but you will have plenty of time and space to yourself. Of course, if you need help, we are only too happy to oblige. Point Vernon is a safe, quiet neighbourhood, set on a peninsular, close to Hervey Bay's CBD, beaches, etc. It is one of the few places in Australia where you can watch both the sunrise and sunset over the water, within a few kilometres of each other. Hervey Bay is mostly flat and very easy to walk around. Villa Cavour has off-street parking for guests on our spacious property. Because Villa Cavour is a two-story property and The Pialba Room is upstairs, guests will need to be able to walk up and down stairs to access their room. We do have one room on the ground floor, which guests are welcome to request if stairs are a problem.
