Historic pastoral farmhouse on park-like setting, within 7.5 miles of New Hope, Doylestown, Newtown, LaHaska (Peddler's Village), Washington's Crossing and the Warminster train station (for day trips to Philadelphia). Just 12 miles to Sesame Place. Less than 5 minutes from Tyler State Park. A town and country vacation for the whole family. Master bedroom (Queen) on first floor with full bath, a step-in shower and a slipper tub. Additional bedrooms upstairs (and full bath): one with a queen bed and a balcony overlooking the pond and the other with a queen bed and wood beams. Bonus room off the first upstairs bedroom has a twin bed. Large inflatable bed also available for additional sleeping. Washer and dryer and large kitchen. Sun-porch and deck with view of the 3-acre property and pond. Enjoy full access, but we ask that you do not go into the basement, attic, or garage without permission. I lived in the area for almost 20 years and know all the fun places to go and eat. Just a short walk to an organic farm and a very short drive to the Carousel Village at Indian Walk. Ride the authentic 1890 carousel, enjoy home-made gourmet ice cream at Oh Wow Cow, and pick up groceries at Organnon's organic market. Shop at the boutique and antique store, then take a tour of the of the 45-acre Christmas tree farm on the authentic steam-engine train. Five minutes from Tyler State Park, where you can hike over 1700 acres, rent a kayak or canoe to meander down the Neshaminy Creek, or go horseback riding through open fields. Just down the road from New Hope for more fun shops, restaurants and river rafting on the Delaware River. You will probably need a car to enjoy all the great places there are to see in Bucks County; however, we are a short drive/Uber to the Warminster train station to get to and from Philadelphia and less than a half hour to the Hamilton or Trenton train stations to New York City. Neighbor may be on the property occasionally to mow the lawn.
